Goshen Brewing Company will always have a special spot in my heart. The food is always delicious with a very wide variety of different cuisines during different times of the year. Nothing beats going to this spot on Wednesday nights to watch live music with friends. The drinks are great and are constantly changing in a good way. I would also recommend going there on Sunday mornings for their brunch that is incredible. Lastly, the service is always great multiple times my family will be trying to take a photo and they will offer a hand to take the photo for us. Very great stuff! read more

Stopped by for a sammie and a brew with my wife and sister. Love the ambience and selections. Both inside and outside seating offer plenty of options for conviviality. All our entrees were delicious (Cobb salad with chicken, Brisket sandwich, and the Hot Mess), each with a distinct wood flavor from the smoker in the kitchen. My Hot Mess was surprisingly good since I live in NC which is pulled pork paradise. Excellent. A couple critiques are the plate for the salad was too small making it difficult to eat, and the lack of table service. In the mood for smoky meats and chilled libations? I was at Goshen Brewing Company for a special event. Their beers are outstanding! I had the Steel Cut Stout (nitro ) and it was excellent! Flavorful. Smooth. Goshen has an interesting beer menu with a jive variety of beers on tap. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I really enjoyed talking with the beertender about the brewery. Goshen has lots of seating. The space has good energy! I don't live in Indiana and can saw that this brewery would compare favorably with breweries I've been to in other parts of the country. The food here was good, beer was incredible, and the service was good! You have to go to the bar to order food and drinks, but the servers who brought our food out were very friendly and helpful when we needed things. This place was hopping! There was live music and the place was packed. Would definitely be a great place to hang out any day of the week. The patio looked nice and would be nice to bring our dogs to. We LOVE to sit at the bar! First off, two bar seats available in the corner! - my favorite! That alone is a clincher in my book! Then, THEN, you get an amazing barkeep like Thaory! Woh. Attentive, wanting to make you comfortable at his bar, find you something you may like from his delicious tap line up - even all the better! Believe me, finding a beer a " likable" beer was NOT a difficult task! Being IPA kind of souls, the Western IPA, and "Frank", the American IPA, caught my eye and taste buds. I had 5 oz pours of each. My husband enjoyed the West Coast Pils, Indian River, and American Pale. He finished off with the extremely fine stout, collaborating with a soak in Journeyman's Rye Barrel. This place is great! We sat at the bar and Abby was our beer tender. She knew the history of the building, the menu front and back, and was sweet to boot! The food is locally sourced and mostly homemade. The green sesame dressing and the bruschetta with homemade bread and green tomatoes is a must! Went here for a friend's surprise birthday a few months ago and had a fabulous time. The beet dip was surprisingly refreshing. I also had chips and dips which was fantastic and a cold noodle dish that was spicy and delicious. Service was pretty good. Order at the register and they give you a number and bring out your food. Pretty efficient for not having servers. The atmosphere was pretty relaxed. We sat outside. Sometimes a band is playing but there wasn't one when we were there. Next time I go I plan on trying the spicy chicken sandwich and a few other items on the menu. read more

Each year I attend a conference in Goshen, Indiana, and visiting Goshen Brewing is one of the highlights every year! This year's visit included two different tasty beers, along with Trout Rillettes as a Starter and the Hot Mess sandwich. It was all fantastic! The trout spread, fresh avocados and toast were bright and fresh. A lovely starter with my Alpine Pilsner. The smoked pork shoulder sandwich was so well executed, I could have had two of them! I paired that with the Concussed New England style hazy IPA. Fabulous. The Service is fast and friendly. Staff really seems engaged, and happy to assist customers. The Ambiance changes based on the season, weather, and whether or not there is live music. Some visits the large doors are open and the place is rocking. On this last visit, we sat in the quieter "more indoors" areas, and it was very pleasant. I've been to Goshen Brewing at least five times over the past 6 years, and have never been disappointed!. I visited Goshen Brewing with some friends on a Friday night and it was busy! It's a big enough venue for seating inside, but apparently it's a hopping place on Fridays! We ordered some drinks, and sat outside around a fire pit as we waited for a table inside. We waited for about 20 minutes and got a table. I ordered Seoul Chicken as it looked interesting. Unfortunately, it didn't hit the spot as the fry on the chicken was not as crispy as I expected. And the flavors didn't all work well together. My wife had the Beef Brisket Sandwich and that was tasty, in fact I wanted to eat her sandwich instead of mine! My friends shared the Green Curry, and they said it wasn't their favorite. I tried a bite and agreed with them. The star in my opinion was the Brussels Sprouts. Goshen Brewing did a nice job of caramelizing and the vinaigrette added a nice bite to the sprouts. If I am in the area, I'll be ordering the Beef Brisket sandwich and Brussels Sprouts again. Goshen Brewing is a great venue for family and friends! read more

Driving back into Michigan and after a few days in Indy, did a google map search for breweries on the route home and came across this nice surprise. If I remember correctly, this used to be a former electric substation for the city of Goshen which they repurposed into the brewery. Aesthetically charming, hanging light bulb, bare brick wall, gorgeous bar top. To top it off, their beers were excellent. I was only here a short time so not a terribly in depth interview, but if you want good beers and great service, this is a great place to be. read more

Cool music and the staff was friendly and helpful in explaining the beers. Excellent beers. No food this time as we came to late but what others had looked solid. I love going to the Brewing Company and think the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great too! Some of the menu items I have enjoyed in the past are the fries, brussels sprouts, and falafel! I like that you have the option to make the falafel gluten-free by substituting salad greens for the pita bread. However, both times I have gotten this I felt like the salad option made it more of a "side salad." For $14, plus $3 extra to upgrade your side to fries, I felt like I didn't quite get the value I would hope for. The food is delicious, but I wish it provided more of a meal. (Although, when they mistakenly gave me the wrong thing one time, they made me a new meal and let me keep both, so I did appreciate that!) I am somewhat limited by my diet, but I love this restaurant and will keep an eye on their menu for other options that I can have! :) read more

I want to go and give each individual worker a lil smooch. This is the friendliest place I have EVER been and we lived in Colorado, which is a pretty friendly place over all. The bartenders? AMAZING. the food? AMAZING. the drinks? Decent. This was our first time and we are blown away. We did the Thai green curry and the Brussel sprouts, holy shit. the Ruben' and the chips were the shit too. I don't think I have a negative thing to say about this place. Absolutely blown away. Stopped in for the first time while I was home up north, such a fun place! We sat at an open table in the front room. However, the back room has community seating which I think is such a fun twist! The Hefeweizen was some of the best beer I've had! The food did not disappoint either! I had the Thai Chicken sandwich, perfect spice level. My dad ordered the beef brisket and enjoyed, too! horrible horrible, pretty sure the people working here are drunk, gave us someone else's food, not even anything I like here but I was trying to stay open minded. not recommend to bring kids here as there's only water, fancy tea, and alcohol. The kids menu is very small as well. If you're a picky eater you won't like this place at all, at the very least the ingredients are good quality but dishes are also very expensive, would rather eat at home. It's is a great environment. Inside and outside seating. People brought their friendly dogs. I went on Tuesday and then only food available was Pad Thai. It was good and I ate it all. They charged $14 which seemed a little high, but I paid it. It is a beer place, and regrettably I'm allergic to beer :( The other option is wine, which is fine. It would be nice if they had full bar. I sat there with friends for 2.5 hours and time flew. The service was great... attentive and friendly. The 5th star is earned when they get a full bar or I am able to start drinking beer. read more

Great beer and great food! We're in town for an event and 6 of us ended up here on Sunday evening for a bite to eat. My wife and I ordered the beef brisket sandwich and the cobb salad. Both were very good. My wife ordered the Heritage beer while ordered a flight of 6 beers. While I would not enjoy all their beers, I enjoyed my selections. You walk up to a food ordering counter to order your food. A bit different but it worked out fine and the food was brought to our table. Ordering beer was more awkward as you need to stand in line at the end of the bar. I felt it was a bit slow but it worked out. We also paid for the food and beed separately. No problem for me - but be aware. They have a real nice, albeit somewhat small area outdoors to eat and drink. As the sun was starting to set, it was a bit too sunny and warm for us to be outside, so we chose indoors. They also have a bean bag game outside for patrons to use. Salads are not huge, but filling and I recommend the steak and avocado on field greens with a lemon vinaigrette. FOOD: 10/10 amazing. Fries are always hot. Always fresh. As both hardly a salad or Brussels sprout eater I enjoy both the Cobb salad and the Brussel sprouts at the brewery. BEER: amazing again. If you're looking for something lighter go with the Millrace Hefe. Something higher in alcohol % and a little darker go with Trouvaille. SERVICE: Friendly staff, helpful and accommodating. ATMOSPHERE: Lively. A little loud in the beer hall but also very communal. Seats are community style so if you're looking for something more private try the inside seating (though that can also be community style too). We finally made our first visit on a recent Sunday afternoon! Great venue with an eclectic vibe. There is a nice outdoor space for warmer weather, but it was cool and rainy so we headed inside. The place was packed but we grabbed a couple seats at the bar. As we do at most of first time brewery visits, we opted for the sampler with the Brett Chardonnay, Pumpkin Bine, Irish Fog, Millrace Hefe, Shoot Out the Moon and Boondocking. Nice variety with the Pumpkin Bine and Irish Fog winning a round of pints for us. Since it was Sunday and brunch time, we opted to split the Biker Bowl with buttermilk biscuit, sausage gravy, home fries, fried egg, bacon, smoked gouda and green onions. My husband's only complaint was that he had to share it! The menu is relatively small, but focused on locally-sourced foods which we love. The lunch/dinner selections were unique enough to make us want to come back for another visit. Great addition to the Goshen food & beverage scene! read more
