The Cajun wings had a little more flavor as they should and it was great! We both ordered a Gossipade and I'm not sure what is in it but it is GOOD! Okay. Lemme start off with- these wings are HUGE. I've never seen wings this big before in my life. These aren't wussy little wings like you'd get from larger chain restaurants that claim they've got the biggest, THESE are the biggest. This was our first time here. We got carry out because of COVID-19, and I'm really kicking myself for waiting this long. My husband got CPR and Cajun lemon pepper wings, and he was silent the whole meal because he was so invested in his food. I got the bustdown, which is a *perfectly* garlicky BBQ. I also got a tsunami lemonade, which wasn't overly sweet; it was a perfect balance of sweet and tart. Service was awesome and super friendly, I placed my order and then waited in my car for them to call and let me know it was ready. I patronized this spot because it was black owned. I have tried to do that at least once a week since I moved to Austin in June 2022. The place was under renovation so I can't speak on that. It was not very inviting, but progress is always good. Darius took my order. Very helpful and explained what was available. Side note, please update the dessert board*. The food was cooked in a timely manner and was brought to us. That was a plus. The presentation of the food was great. I asked for extra crispy on the wings and it wasn't. I am not fond of thick soggy skin but the flavor was good. It would be great if hot honey lemon pepper was added. Paid 35 for 2 six pc with fries, a med drink and cheesecake bites. I got a 10 piece bustdown with ranch and it was super good. The wings were juicy like always and had a nice flavor (you can tell they were seasoned before they are cooked). While I dont normally like banana pudding thats not made like my Auntie does, I will have to admit that this banana pudding is most definitely on point. Even my twins loved it. Wow, great flavored food! I went in not knowing what to expect due me not ever having tried chicken and waffles. What a great surprise! Location: In the Three Points shopping lot where you can see the Mr. Gatti's and Joe's Italian Kitchen on Grand Avenue Parkway and Central Commerce. This joint is not hard to find at all. Bathrooms to the left side of the vincinity and it is an all gender neutral bathroom so for those who classify as trees and lightbulbs--you're good to use the restroom. Kitchen in the back and is closed off from public access with a wall separating the kitchen from the main floor. There are trash cans around here too. Menu: Fun flavors for wings. Honestly my eyes were fixated on the wings and I forgot they had desserts. I like the concept of the menu but to be frank, I did find the menu to be overwhelming. I ended up asking the staff about flavor choices and rolled with the choices. This spot has a lot of wing flavors too from wet marinades to dry rubs. Absolutely disappointed in this place. We used to order often. The food was delicious and it was quick. Unfortunately, this place started to go down hill: - they changed the style of their wings from a whole wing joint to an over-breaded wing bit (drum or flat only) - when we've called to order to go, the person on the other end kept getting confused and didn'tremember what we said and sounded completely lost. We ended up cancelled that order. - we referred some friends from out of the area and they told me they were so disappointed because the staff lost their order twice and since it was so late they just wanted a refund. We would love nothing more than for GS2 to get there stuff together and operate at level on par but recently it's been consistently sub par so we cannot recommend it. read more

First, hats off to Marvin!!! He handled the orders and serving like a boss. Missing a star because we had to let him know what was missing from our order...the onion rings and the hush puppies! My boyfriend and I ordered two orders of chicken wings and waffle fries through Doordash. I was interested in trying this place because they offer over 15 different sauces and dry rubs. However when we received our food, the styrofoam containers were bent out of shape. This was due to the food being hot, which I appreciate. But the heat from the food being trapped in the container steamed the chicken and fries and made them soggy. The flavor of the food itself was good but I was disappointed in the texture. I was hoping it would be crispy and crunchy. My suggestion would be to change the to go containers or maybe poke holes in the top so that it is ventilated. Two the chicken is more of a chicken wing style then a entire breast but that is smart if you want more of a finger food style. And the waffle fries are very taste if your into salt and seasoning. Chicken was cooked to perfection and the waffles are a great pairing. The fried waffles are basically a funnel cake. Holy wings... this place SLAMS. It is so freaking good. The wings are FRESH fresh. They tell you when you check out that the wait will be around 25 minutes. The quality of the wings makes up for the wait because they are DANG good. I got the CPR (Cajun Parmesan rub) and added garlic and I will never appreciate other wings the same again.
