On reflection I should have tried one of their set meals - I had food envy when I saw everyone else's combinations of meet, chicken or fish which were served with rice, beans and salad. The salad buffet were served by staff (due to the 'Rona), and at times had the queue to get served was right to the back of the restaurant. The server was giving out very small amounts meaning many people kept going back up several times, which seemed counterproductive. The salad bar had lots of choice though and was well tasty. One of the meat men had a right attitude when serving and you felt you were inconveniencing him getting served. Quite a while between meat options coming up. We visited on a Wednesday evening and it wasn't very busy, which perhaps didn't help. The buffet dishes would have been really good but they hadn't been refreshed, the things which should have been hot no longer were and some of the things which were meant to be cold were obviously flagging a little. Perhaps on a busy night this is better but for us it wasn't great, and as my girlfriend is vegetarian this was her entire meal. You could argue this isn't really a place for vegetarians, and I would agree. The real draw of Brazilian BBQ is the lure of endless varied meats and here is no exception. The meats were mostly pretty good, nicely cooked and well infused with various seasonings and marinades. A couple of chicken offerings were the exception to the rule, I don't know what they had been subjected to before arriving on my plate but they were hard enough to throw through the living room window of someone you don't like. Certainly more than a match for my dentistry. Full BBQ menu was £23, vegetarian option £11. We had a drink each and no dessert and spent just over £40. The service was excellent. Some of the waiting staff were clearly new, but very attentive and prompt.
