Very clean cabins with plenty of lake access and great views for just watching the sunset or listening to the loons. Good fishing and good swimming for the kids. Play area, bonfire pit, games, etc. boats, mini store, bait... they have it all. We left all out problems behind when we booked a stay at the End of the Road. A great destination that is truly at the end of the road. Best time of the summer for us! You will leave feeling like you made two more best friends, after you meet Steve & Cheryl.

If you have an "interior" room, you have a cute little patio and a view of the courtyard. Breakfast was great and with plenty of space to sit and enjoy your morning. The hot tubs were fantastic and there were multiple, so you're not up in everyone's business. The only complaint I have is that there was no a/c, so it did get quite warm in the room.

When we asked the front desk for different linen they were accommodating. There were just too many issues with the room that suggested cleaning is overlooked!

There's flowers outside and we didn't even walk by the sculptures, but we saw them from afar, and they looked very nice as well. Even though I went early in the morning right when they opened, the bathrooms were very clean. They offer free coffee, but do not have the popcorn that others speak about in the reviews. They said the popcorn was taken away during covid. The girl inside with glasses (I don't know her name) asked if we needed any help, or if I had any questions, and was very nice. I still have some states to go to get to my 50th state, but whichever is going to be my 50th-- I hope they do a whole hoopla like they do here! They did have memorabilia from the movie named after the city...I guess I have to watch it now!

They even have a celebrity walk of fame along the grounds. I totally recommend stopping by this visitors center. Best of all, if it's your last state to visit in the USA, they give you a T-shirt and certificate and have a huge photo opt in the wall and a sign with a 50 to take a pic with. My mom loved it and so glad she was able to check this off her list.

I gotta tell ya, Fargo's little airport is a Gem. It was easy to navigate with plenty of services like an airport gift shop featuring North Dakota-made products, a SkyDine and Subway restaurants, a lounge/coffee/snack bar and a gift shop kiosk located at Gate 3 and 4, business centers located throughout the terminal with plenty of sit-down work areas, free Wi-Fi and 120V power connections, and a game room on the main level. Another big plus is how easy it is to access the car rental counters and rental lots. The counters are on the lower level and the lot was just a very short walk away. No shuttles needed! Hector includes service from United Airlines, Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Frontier Airlines. And where can you fly from Fargo? How about Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Nashville, Orlando, Phoenix, and St. Petersburgh. And who is Hector airport named after? Hector International Airport is named after Martin Hector, a local businessman who first leased and then donated 160 acres to the city for the airport.

It had been a long day of driving for me, coming from Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and this spot was just what I needed. The Moorhead Travel Information Center Rest Area was great. I stayed overnight in my car, and I wasn't the only one taking advantage of the peaceful (relatively speaking) parking lot for a bit of rest. The center had a solid selection of visitor materials, which made planning the next legs of the trip a breeze. The bathrooms were pretty clean, which, let's be real, is a huge plus when you're on the road. Grateful for the location and the desolate hospitality this place offered.
