( don't make that mistake) We bought a small bag of macarons from a sweet lady and let me tell you they were so unbelievably flavorful. It was so flavorful, soft and light on the inside and crisp on the outside. We came back the next day and bought a small box to eat during our short stay in Chamonix from this sweet older gentleman. Then came back on our last day, and the sweet guy who I think owns the store chuckled at us for being back so often. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly host who guided us through their entire selection of chocolate as well as what chocolate Switzerland was known for. He was also kind enough to let us all sample 2 chocolates. Our group ended up buying 40+ pieces across the 4 of us, which we readily consumed over the next 2 days. Each piece was as rich and unique as was described, and certainly gave us a good start to our Switzerland chocolate experience.
