However, because my church is so far away and I don't like to drive very far on Sundays, I stopped by St. Hillary's Episcopal Church one Sunday and I had a very positive experience and I'm very grateful to the pastor and the congregation for their warm hospitality. For those who are thinking about going but don't know much about Episcopal churches it's really quite simple. Episcopal churches are almost like Catholic churches. They follow a structured order of worship and follow many of the same creeds and principals. However, Episcopal churches do not recognize the authority of the pope, they do ordain women, and their clergy is allowed to marry. I love the traditional form of worship. It's so spiritual and I do feel that God is more present in these services (however, I recognize that this is just a matter of preference as God is everywhere). If you are thinking about dropping in, I would encourage you to do so.

When they opened the doors, they took about 1/3 of the line from the rear and made a secondary line to enter at the same time. People who had literally just arrived got in before TONS of people who had been waiting hours in line for NO reason. There were people I recognized who had just arrived and got in the back of the line, sitting 3 to 4 rows ahead of me because they let them in first. They could have just split the line up into the 4 entrances at the front. This was so unfair and stupid to do to paying customers who had been waiting HOURS. I tried to bring it up to a leader that was there and was brushed off. I will NOT be attending this place again. What an awful way to treat loyal fans of a guest speaker you have as well.

We are relocating from Los Angeles and we have visited several churches and none have compared to this one. From the moment we entered we were greeted and shown around the entire church. The nursery and the people there were super friendly and professional. The welcome center was amazing and they give you an amazing little treat. They also have nursing room for all you nursing mommies. Now the sanctuary was gorgeous. Very different from the photos already on yelp. Worship was good :) they had a variety of instruments, and at the 11am service they have a choir!!! The message was awesome and holy spirit filled. Yay! After the service everyone made us feel welcome and told us about all the events and classes to attend. We were in love because we like to stay busy with Godly things. Not to mention they have childcare throughout these events and classes. In excited for the marriage classes and NextGen. Holy Family has some of the most rudest and disrespecting front desk receptionists at the office…read more Every interaction we have made with the office receptionists has been a horrible experience, not just with me but all my family. We have been trying for 2 weeks now trying to get records of a baptism certificate, the front desk collects all the needed information to submit an order and leaves us in the dark. A week later we followed up to see if our baptism record was ready for pick up and the rude receptionists at the office just say "nope not ready yet" and don't give us any information on updates. Another week later, we ask for a follow up and they once again asked for all the needed information for the request of a baptism paperwork as if this was the first time we spoke. Which leads me to believe the front office receptionist never actually submitted my request and when we expressed that it has been 2 weeks already and we need a copy of our baptism certificate right away, the front office receptionists just said "yeah well you're not the only one asking for records. Everyone is asking for records" and continued on with. "It's not ready like I said" this is supposed to be a holy church but they're filled with unholy receptionists who have alot of hate in there heart. No empathy and they have no business working at a holy church when they do not respond christ-like.... do not go to this church. I recommend going to another catholic church where the holy spirit is actually present.
