I found the pastor very unconcerned about my situation and referred me to his wife. She again was not very interested or seemed to care about my plight. She said a very simple prayer and said goodbye. About a year later I attended a service at the park by the library. The pastor was walking around after the sermon and said hello to my husband and I. I said we had met on the phone. He says oh yes the lady with the disabilities. Then just walked away..Two years later when I was able to attend the outdoor service, it was a repeat of the previous time I met him at the outdoor service. I do love assembly of God Churches. However, I have a problem when the church is suppose to be spirit filled and the pastor seems to not be as well as his wife. I will attend again as I am doing better. Because Gods words says, where two or more are gathered in my name ther I will be also. So yes God can and will meet me there. As the one other time attended at the church I was met by very friendly people.
