This is a beautiful facility and very clean. The staff has always been great but the director of…read morethe facility is VERY difficult to work with. She refused to give our child Albuteral treatments and even claimed it was "illegal", at one time, for her to do them. Our son also has an intolerance/allergy to a couple foods, but was fed them on several occasions, some of them without us ever being told! (which we recently found out). When we brought up the food allergy concerns the director did not admit to the food being fed and blamed them on her staff and later told us that food allergies are "hard to work with". Luckily they don't cause severe issues. The director also on several occasions made comments behind our backs to staff about our parent "inabilities" (that staff later shared with us). If you are looking for someone to work with you as a parent, this is not the place. On a greater note, in the last 6 weeks all of our previous teachers have disappeared (9 people in 6 weeks). In the past couple weeks we have dropped our child off with or picked him up from, with new faces nearly everyday. The single most important payment I make is to someone who I should trust with my kid. Unfortunately, this was not the place. I want to point out that our son's teachers have always been awesome, but it is obvious that the way the business is run is nothing short of disappointing.

Sermons are interesting and dare i say it, entertaining even. The members seem engaged and there are activities and groups available for kids and adults. My kids love the programs that are available and the staff communicates well with all of us. they provide daycare, and they serve donuts and coffee with a free will donation. its a brand new building with everything we need including a gym area. *Edit* I also forgot to mention that all child volunteers receive a background check and have to attend a class before being allowed to help. http://www.crossviewcovenant.org/

More Light! The Nora Unitarian Church was the congregation my grandparents took me to on occassion…read moreto give me a perspective on thinking for myself religiously. Growing up "Christian" back in my Iowa home town didn't always lend itself well to that. I remember the first time I had attended services there. The minister had finished giving an excellent sermon. What followed was a very learned and interactive discussion and challenged and expanded on his points. I enjoyed the give and take, the intellectual arguments and the love of learning by the congregation, the welcoming atmosphere, and the peacefulness and quiet of this special place. After all, this country church has it's own quiet dignity. Maybe it was my first Jewish moment. I stopped by one day a few years ago and with no one around, I just walked and explored as I pondered the considerable burdens on my mind at the time and in a small way found relief. I was also mindful of what a truly wonderful gift my grandparents gave me in this place.

Local state institution an hour away from the Twin Cities. I like the student involvement on…read morecampus. The majority of the buildings are wel maintained. Parking is a hassle and I have issues with the payment and where the guest parking spots are at on this campus. The student union is decent with plenty of student activities and outside events being hosted here. Overall, it was a decent visit here.
