I grew up as catholic but never really fitted in with that style of worship. So going to a church like this for the first time was very eye opening and felt more comfortable. Walking in one of the welcome people by the parking lot immediately welcomed me with open arms after i said i was new and it's my first time. Nothing but kindness and friendliness to someone who was shy and nervous. Loved the band and the message from lead pastor Todd. As someone who's been disconnected from God for a long time and is ready to rebuild that relationship with him i feel like i've found my church to help me do that. Excited to come back next week and many more.

The sermon was thoughtful and genuinely helpful, pushing me to reflect and grow in my faith instead of just listening passively. The worship team is also exceptional. They created an atmosphere that made it easy to enter into worship in a sincere and meaningful way. One of the best worship experiences I've had at a church in the high desert. The members were polite, and genuinely happy to greet and be around. I can't recommend this church enough as it was a breath of fresh air when we found it.

Very disappointed. I attended this church for a live comedy event yesterday. I paid over 400…read moredollars for tickets for my family, drove an hour and a half to get there and waited over an hour in line. When they opened the doors, they took about 1/3 of the line from the rear and made a secondary line to enter at the same time. People who had literally just arrived got in before TONS of people who had been waiting hours in line for NO reason. There were people I recognized who had just arrived and got in the back of the line, sitting 3 to 4 rows ahead of me because they let them in first. They could have just split the line up into the 4 entrances at the front. This was so unfair and stupid to do to paying customers who had been waiting HOURS. I tried to bring it up to a leader that was there and was brushed off. I will NOT be attending this place again. What an awful way to treat loyal fans of a guest speaker you have as well.

We are relocating from Los Angeles and we have visited several churches and none have compared to this one. From the moment we entered we were greeted and shown around the entire church. The nursery and the people there were super friendly and professional. The welcome center was amazing and they give you an amazing little treat. They also have nursing room for all you nursing mommies. Now the sanctuary was gorgeous. Very different from the photos already on yelp. Worship was good :) they had a variety of instruments, and at the 11am service they have a choir!!! The message was awesome and holy spirit filled. Yay! After the service everyone made us feel welcome and told us about all the events and classes to attend. We were in love because we like to stay busy with Godly things. Not to mention they have childcare throughout these events and classes. In excited for the marriage classes and NextGen. They also have a school which is awesome for the kids to grow in :) can't wait to finally move here and make it my home, and build long life relationships!!!

Heard mixed reviews @ other churches BUT the past is less interesting than the present or future…read more All that counts is what one does from this day forward. I do like the overall service at 1100 Sunday having missed maybe three in total since moving nearby in Feb 2013. I like the pastor, his sermons, the great seminary students who fill in occasionally, the overall spirit of the place, lots of opportunities to get involved if you're not a bench warmer. I like the mix of hymns and contemporary music but if I dare be critical of fellow Christians I'd say here lies the weakest link a few times. Hey I realize we all have different tastes don't get too excited. I go for the worship, the teaching of God's truth, and to commune with fellow believers - not for entertainment. There are other places one can go for volume and elaborate concerts, so I'm told. Bottom line is after 3.5 years at another local church i never felt compelled to join; I intend to join FBC. Watch this church grow in the coming months and years.
