We moved to the…read morePickerington area because of all of the great things we heard about the school system and we were definitely not disappointed in this school. All four of my boys attended Tussing Elementary and we've been nothing short of pleased with the programs and dedication to students that this place has to offer. The faculty is phenomenal and we love the fact that they make every effort to communicate with the parents, no matter what. Teachers wouldn't hesitate to call or email you if there was a reason to talk to you about anything good or bad. I think the strong communication lines are would make this place so awesome. The teachers take every opportunity to educate the children in more than just academics. For instance, my son told his teacher that I was a safety professional and she asked me to come in and give a special presentation on personal protective equipment and general safety at home. They have wonderful extracurricular events and they're very eager to involve family. I especially love the fact that they are a poll location which is very convenient in terms of proximity to my house. The only thing that disappoints me is that my youngest is one year away from graduation , so it's been sometime time since any of my boys have been to the school. Still, I would recommend that any and everyone enroll their children here. This is what education is all about!
