This is a congregation that consists of three merged groups: Church of the Brethern, United Church of Christ, and Disciples of Christ. As each of the other congregations became too small to be sustainable, they joined this one (mainly UCC). The congregation is fiercely open and affirming. People from all backgrounds are welcome. It's a place to belong, to get involved, and be accepted.

They baptized my children without any fear or crazy politics, helped me with my sort of complicated annulment, and accepted me as I am (which is saying a lot). I saw some people I knew from my past and enjoyed the wonderful people and food. The church was built in 1958 which at the time I sure was a wonderful part of Erie. This area is mostly homes built during or shortly after world war II. This church is loved very much by the parish that takes care of it. I am not a member and not even polish. My wife is polish and wanted to see this place for herself. I've posted a few pictures of the stained glass within the church but on this day was heavy traffic and didn't have enough time to take all I wanted and some of the church was locked off.
