EXCELLENT GRADUATE NURSING STAFF…read more In 2019, I completed IWU's PMHNP-MSN graduate nursing program and successfully passed the ANCC Board Test. In January 2025, I returned to IWU to study to become an FNP and just finished the first of three required classes and clinical rotations. The Graduate Nursing Staff has been very supportive and available to help guide me in my studies. Dr. Gowan, Dr. Hawkins, Dr. Antworth, and Dr. Huff have been great. My Enrollment Counselor, Alita W., made the enrollment process a breeze. I did not become an RN until I was 57, and a PMHNP when I was 63. I just turned 69 and will hopefully pass the ANCC or AANP Board Testing after I complete the program in December 2025 and go on to continue learning and working to be the best provider I can be.

We visited the campus today to see an exhibition and every single employee we met were friendly, outgoing, willing to answer any questions we had about the school and its' educational focus. We had never heard of Goshen College before but we will definitely remember it going forward and make sure to keep it in mind for when our daughter decides what she wants to major in when she's at the college selection phase!

Every student spends a semester in another culture, usually in a third world country. I'm a grad. I spent a semester in Honduras. You learn things about yourself, your culture, your values that you never would have in a classroom. GC is also a great school for the arts--music, theater, art, with two nationally recognized performing venues (Umble Center, Music Center). Strong nursing program, strong communications program, global center for anabaptism, the Mennonite Historical Library and Mennonite Archives. Technology is good. Financial Aid is generous. It's a least debt school.

One thing that stands out is the way their student enrollment has grown from year to year. I think this really speaks to the quality of their programs and campus life! Not to mention, they have adjusted so well by adding new housing facilities. My experience on the campus of Trine University has been limited to Hoosier Girls State, which is a week long camp that is hosted here each year in the month of June. It is a great program, and Trine does a great job in facilitating it and giving it a place to call home! The Trine personnel, from coordinators and dining staff to residence hall maintainers, are so welcoming and willing to bend over backward for their guests. Another thing that stands out about this university is how generous they are when it comes to hosting programs, such as Hoosier Girls State for high schoolers across the state. Each year, the university offers a scholarship to each Hoosier Girls State delegate to apply to their college tuition if they choose to attend Trine University. This is unique and an outstanding gesture of this great university! I am confident life as a student at Trine University is as great as the experience I have had as a former delegate and counselor at Hoosier Girls State. I imagine it is a great place to prepare for ones future!
