A great…read moreteacher who told me what I did right and what I did wrong or could have done better - always ensuring I understood fully what he was saying and why. Open to questions, he was fully invested in me as a learner driver and I responded well to the nurturing environment he created. Covered everything from best driving practice, to car maintenance, test questions on road markings and signs, etc. I highly recommend the Excel School to build confidence behind the wheel and to becoming a competent driver. I had the best time here! DCU took a bunch of international students to Causey Farm to experience…read moreIrish Farm life. We learned how to play a traditional Irish drum, learned traditional Irish dancing, made soda bread from scratch, ate said soda bread with soup and other items at the end of the day. We also went down to the bog and cut turf and learned about the importance it plays on the ecosystem, milked a cow, watched the farmer herd his sheep and played a game of Hurley. At the end of the day, after the meal we listened and joined in to traditional Irish music. Being an international student it was a fantastic experience and everyone from the group loved the trip!
I was out here for the Haunted Spooktacular and had a ball! The people who run it are really…read moreenthusiastic and pleasant and the set up is just great. I can't say too much or I will give it away, just remember to wear comfy shoes, warm clothes and prepare to be scared. Lots of frights and "Oh No" moments, so if you love horror or Halloween I highly recommend it! Great way to spend an evening and well worth the bit of a trip outside the pale.
