Thankfully they have modern and clean restrooms to evacuate all the beer drank there. The ambiance of the place is a lively beer hall. There are picnic tables and banquettes of various sizes. The wait staff are intentionally a little rude. Part of their stick. The beers keep coming until you say stop. You get the house brew in 10 oz. glasses. The waiter makes a mark on a coaster each time he brings a round. When you have had enough be sure to put a coaster on top of your glass, or the beer will keep coming. The food menu is large and only in German. It is a good time to use the photo translation feature on your phone. The food was very good and a LOT! Each order is a kilo of wings which is about 25-27 wings. Definitely not just pieces of Romain lettuce and ranch. It was a very tasty salad. Now for the most important part: The gratuitous, warm, comforting and welcoming treatment I received from the staff. I recently moved to this city and I do not know German. After entering the restaurant, the elderly gentleman very kindly welcomed & explained, as much possible, the different seating arrangements. Both the waitresses on the way, warmly greeted and welcomed me. This felt good. A waitress then attended my table conversing naturally in Deutsch.She sensed my inability and put me to ease at once saying it's no problems at all, take your time. Genuinely understanding. After that it was a peaceful & satisfying moment in the restaurant. I am really thankful to their service and the food. As everyone has reviewed, they are homely, cozy and comforting This was the first German dinner in Deutschland and it was worth the awkwardness and initial discomfort.
