Very nice selection of Red wine! Interior design simple and cozy. Attentive service. Kitchen oven not available at this time not sure when will be online for pizzas.

I've been to Grafted Cellars in Claremont a couple times with my girlfriends, and we always have such a great time, especially because of the fun menu items and events! Weekly Events: Grafted Cellars regularly hosts various events throughout the week, such as pictionary, paint nights, and trivia. My friends and I have come by to participate in trivia several times, and always leave looking forward to the next event. The trivia questions and categories are always well thought out and can be incredibly niche (which is a good thing, especially for trivia aficionados -- I can't count the number of times I've heard "What is the tallest mountain range in the world?" at other trivia sessions. It gets old.) Ambiance: The interior is so cute! There's a bit of a cozy cottage vibe going on, with the exposed beams and how intimate the space feels. Service: The servers are friendly and check in just the right amount -- enough to ensure that you get your drink/food orders in regularly, but not too much (to distract from the trivia at hand lol). Food/Drinks: Our go-to order is normally the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza, which is made fresh to order and comes to the table piping hot. Also, it seems that seasonally, Grafted Cellars comes up with some fun wine flights and pairings -- we especially enjoyed the Valentine's candy and Girl Scout cookie pairings. Such a nice way to have a little bit of whimsy while catching up with friends. Parking: Parking can be a little tricky, since there's only so much street parking shared amongst all the boutiques and restaurants that are concentrated in this area. But I find that I'm normally able to find something within a reasonable amount of time if I circle around the block a couple times. All in all, always a fun time! My friends' and my go-to spot for good wine, good conversation, and good trivia!

Finding a tasting room that balances a relaxed vibe with a genuinely solid wine program is always a win. This spot in Claremont Village manages the atmosphere perfectly, serving as an ideal backdrop for a night out with girl friends. Their current rotation of summer whites is incredibly crisp and refreshing, delivering exactly the kind of bright, structured profile you want to be drinking right now. What truly anchors the entire experience is the hospitality. The service is exceptionally kind and attentive without ever feeling forced, making you feel entirely looked after. Whether you are gathering a group for the evening or just popping in for the members happy hour, it is an effortlessly chill environment that still takes its wine seriously. A fantastic local staple.

Trivia: I was totally unaware of the grafting act with wines from Europe in America. According to their website, how long has grafting been happening to "solve a worldwide hardship in grape growing?" I've been to Claremont twice in my life. I've been to Grafted Cellars both times. On the first visit I made the mistake of leaving without a couple bottles of their wine. I didn't make that mistake the second time. I had delicious wines during both visits. The complimentary tasting flight (because my friend is a wine club member) was superb. The vegetarian charcuterie plate full of cheeses and breads and spreads perfectly complimented the wines. Highly recommend!

Great food and amazing service! The wine is yummy but Omar's lemon drops are the best in town!!!

Loved the quaint warmth and welcoming service from the staff. Inviting and accommodating. Bar or low top seating areas inside or patio space. Cute shop for a wine down. Innovative beaker flights with controlled pour. While meandering around the downtown area this is a great stop to include. Street parking right in front or lot nearby with short walk.

Such a super cute wine spot! I have been here a couple of times and it never disappoints. The outdoor area is so nice, the lights make it feel cozy and intimate. Inside is a whole vibe too. It's the perfect place to chill, relax, and sip some wine. Definitely a great spot for a laid-back night out!

We randomly discovered this place walking around Claremont Village. I have been to Claremont Village many times. And it was my first time spotting this hidden gem. It's such a cute spot. Perfect place to grab brunch and a drink with friends and catch up. There are indoor and outdoor sitting. But I would say outdoor was more lively. I only had couple of drinks here. I will come back for food next time. Also, the service was excellent. Friendly staffs!

First time visiting Grafted Cellars and we sat at the bar,we had such a great experience! The bartender Omar was welcoming, offered excellent food recommendations, and made amazing holiday drinks. Everything was flavorful, festive, and well crafted. We'll definitely be back!

Wine flight and half charcuterie board

We visited for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed the wine, food and atmosphere. They were having a trivia night which we did not take part of, but it seemed like everyone was really enjoying the game and a lot of regulars. They have a wide variety of wines and helpful tasting notes you can look up with a QR code. We did a Groupon for two wine flights and a half charcuterie which was a great deal especially with it being our first visit. The half board charcuterie was a very generous portion. We also tried the hot honey pizza which was very fresh and delicious. They offer indoor, outdoor and bar seating. We will definitely be back to try some more food and wines.

A friend I met many years ago at a wine tasting invited me to a Burgundy wine class at Packing House Wines, and I attended. The store is located up a few steps on the north side of the Claremont Packing House. Parking is usually not an issue as there is a big multi-level parking garage on the east side of the packing house. All attendees sat down to a list of wines to be tasted, a printed out copy of the slides being presented, a big burgundy wine glass for pours, water, and a nice little charcuterie plate. The owner Sal gave the presentation, and it was easily the best wine class I have ever attended. He talks pretty fast, but not too fast, and his delivery was excellent, providing an extensive amount of information that was easy to understand. We pretty much learned everything about Burgundy wines from the history of the region, the stringent production laws, different classes of Burgundy wines, and details about all of the different producers and regions we tasted wines from. The class was scheduled for two hours, but it ended up lasting for two and a half hours. It would have been easy to stay for much longer as the class and wines were very enjoyable. The wine class was a little pricey at $125 per person, but this was a bargain as Burgundy wines are expensive. We were able to taste ten 1.5 ounce pours including several Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines (one of them was $350/bottle). My favorites were the '17 Albert Bichot Fixin ($53.99) and the '20 Domaine Lecheneaut Vosne Romanee ($124.99) which I purchased. They have wine classes regularly, and I will definitely return if one catches my eye. They have quite a selection of wines for sale, as well as tasting flights and food from their kitchen.

We were first introduced to one another by the previous owners, Mary and Jim, during one of their events--little did we know those introductions would grow into lifelong friendships. Over the years, our Wednesday Wine Nights became a tradition we all cherished. When we learned that the shop was going up for sale, we were understandably nervous. We wondered what would happen if it didn't sell--where would we go? And if it did sell, what if the new owners changed the shop in ways we didn't love? What if we didn't connect with them the way we had with Mary and Jim, who had become family to us? Then it happened, the shop sold. We were introduced to Maria and Veronica, and it was truly love at first meeting. They are two of the kindest, most welcoming women, and they have brought fresh ideas and wonderful energy to the shop. Our Wednesday Wine Nights continue today, and we are grateful to have gained new friends in Maria, Veronica, and their families, who help run this warm, family-operated business. The Third Street Wine Shop remains a place where you are welcomed the moment you walk in--where the owners make you feel like you're their only guests. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a tasting, a glass, or a bottle of exceptional wine, paired with one of their beautiful charcuterie boards or other delicious snacks. And for those who prefer beer, they offer a great selection of local craft options as well. We hope to see you there soon!

They've got indoor and outdoor seating and they seemed a touch understaffed for being a beautiful day. It was also a Tuesday lunchtime so maybe they weren't expecting it to be as busy as it was. We were able to prove the menu before we got seated. And our super friendly server came out and we were able to order right away. They've got a lunch special. That is a small personal pizza with a salad and we each got that. Salads came out first and I had the arugula salad, which was absolutely phenomenal. 10 of 10 would eat this every single day. The arugula was peppery and it was well dressed in a lemon vinaigrette type sauce. I am a fan of just plain lemon on mine, but this was delicious. My husband got a union salad, which is their specialty I guess. It's got colored carrots and some beets and some shallots. I thought the dressing was bland and it certainly needed salt and pepper. We asked for both and didn't get either. Our pieces came out and they were nice and woodfired. I feel like they could've been done just a little bit longer maybe a minute or two. The sauce was a lovely fresh type crushed tomato sauce. The cheese was nice and gooey and did not feel or taste like a package of processed cheese. Pepperonis were greasy, but in a real meat kind of way. I had to dab mine, but my husband just went to town on his. The pickled peppers is a pickled jalapeño. Big chunks of them. They certainly didn't skimp on any of the toppings. They were a little sweet and a little hot. Some of the big chunks were a little too sweet for my liking but overall, it was a nice flavor mix Also from a size standpoint, I thought the salad and pizza were very adequate for lunch at around $20 price point I asked for salt and pepper again as well as a side of ranch. This time we did get the salt and pepper as well as cheese and crushed red pepper. But we didn't get the ranch until we were leaving. The server did apologize and said he thought someone else was bringing it out but I pretty much deducted a star because we asked for a couple different things that never came. Overall, the service was super friendly, the ambience was nice for an outdoor lunch thought.
