They will look for jobs for you under the specifications you give them and then forward your details to you're the recruiter. Lynn Recruitment is a really good company to join, firstly it is located on May Street in Belfast which is about as central as you can get. It also does not have any particular specialty so is a great company for anyone to join no matter what your qualifications. They also cater for temporary or permanent work. Registering is pretty painless too, just pop into the office with your passport, CV and national insurance card and next thing you know you will be working in Wall Street or at least Percy Street.

I was one of them. A number of months ago I spotted a job I would be interested in and it was through Grafton Recruitment., so I duly sent them across my CV. They left me a voicemail with a brief description of the job, and said the employer wanted to see me at a certain time. I was somewhat taken aback, as most agencies, even the very small ones, will want you to come in to register personally, and have a chat with you about what sort of jobs you are looking for, I got none of this. When I tried to call back to discuss it further, the consultant was not available and despite my best efforts, never returned my calls. I attended the interview at the time left on my voicemail and spoke to the employer, but unfortunately the job was not for me. Again I had no luck getting speaking to the consultant, so had to leave a message with my feedback. Over the following weeks, I noticed a number of other jobs of interest which I tried to get in contact about ,but still no one had the courtesy to even respond. I am now in a fantastic job that I love, but no thanks to this agency, I would not use them in future.

However this recruitment agency is more inclined towards temporary positions so if you are looking a career change then I think this place should be well avoided. If you are a student like me who is looking a bit of extra money doing catering or secretarial work over the Summer break then this is well worth a shout, though if your looking for the best job in the world, it is probably not going to be here. The staff will be more than willing to help you and they even gave me advice when I told them what exactly I was looking for. However one word of advice is that you can't be fussy with regards to the work that they may offer you because any of the jobs offered by this agency aren't that great paying.

I have to praise the work of this Job Centre as they helped me to locate my job in Asda over the…read moresummer via their good work. I have since gone on to quit the job as it was frankly terribly boring( I have worked in shops for over 5 years but being on checkouts the entire time is frankly soul destroying, treat your till attendants with better respect in supermarkets in future!) so I was glad to escape. Regardless of the unsuitability of the role for me, things in this job centre were great. It is a bit basic on the inside but that is more due to the fact that I imagine it is over subscribed in this day and age and understaffed. The staff are helpful and informative and try to maintain a personal touch, and will do their best to help you find gainful employment, which is all that is needed from a place like this. Good job!
