Simply enter, take the elevator to the 8th floor (the elevator doors do not automatically open) and then the stairs up to the roof. The small platform is above the 8th floor and has an amazing view. From here, you can see all of Palma including the marina, the cathedral and the castle. You will want to arrive about a half hour before sunset as it seems to get amazingly busy! Prices are very reasonable. My beer was only €3. How can you beat that?

I believe the room is priced at twice what would seem fair under the circumstances. Great location and walkable to everything. Hotel is small and elegant. Our Sant Francesc "suite" is not a suite by any standards but instead a mere room and should in no way be marketed as a suite just to add to the already hefty pricing. This suite had an uncomfortable mattress that was too soft and only a thin comforter. This makes me think the mattress hasn't been replaced in years. Further, upon checking in I gave the clerk my credit card and passports but she wanted both my spouse and my signatures because mine alone wasn't good enough to check in which I thought was odd especially given this was a birthday gift to my spouse. The rooftop is tiny so not really a pool place and the pool is not heated or meant for swimming due to its tiny size. Food is not bad but not anything special.The gym is also minuscule and you will get better exercise honestly just walking in town. We ordered a car transport from the hotel directly but the car came a half hour late and would not take our bags because they told us they can't keep a bag in the front seat. All of this makes me feel like this is a 4-star trying to be a 5-star but falls onto a 3-star when it's all said and done.

Although it was a weekday, it was highly suggested that we make reservations for lunch, and so we did. The experience was positively unforgettable. When we arrived, we were very warmly greeted and taken to our seats. Shortly after, a sommelier greeted us and made some suggestions, though we decided to stick to non-alcoholic beverages for our lunch. Then our server came and provided us with a plethora of information and suggestions. Everyone working here was so nice and professional, the most top-notch service I've ever gotten for lunch. I ordered the grilled angus beef, and my fiance ordered the grilled tuna loin. Both of our dishes were delicious! The house-made cheesecake was suggested to us, and so we ordered it; it was worth it! He was very friendly and very eager to get us situated, going as far as walking us all the way to our room because he was worried it would be difficult to find (it was). Everything looks like it had been recently refreshed, from the bathrooms to the furniture. All in all a good experience.

I stayed in other hotels in my trip around Spain but this hotel had the best bed, pillows, and comforter - I slept so well here. The location was excellent. The main square Plaça Major was right behind us and you are surround by shops and beautiful churches. I will definitely stay in this hotel again on my next trip to Palma!
