Service was excellent and food very tasty, the cost though was high. Setting was nice and easily accessible with plenty of parking. I can recommend this place, just wish the prices were a bit more reason

Birthday dinner after spending the day at Bill Baggs State Park "El Farrito" as my dad calls it. First time ever that we couldn't get to the boat grill on site and picked this spot as back up. Little did I know that the prices and quality do not match the dolphin mall location. There's a $5 up charge for each plate which doesn't make any sense since it's the same food. 3/5 plates we ordered were good. The others were not worth the price. My fish wasn't grilled - it was fried and tasteless. I was so hungry that I didn't change it but the lomo saltado and ceviche that my family ordered was really good. The desserts were chilled and would have preferred at room temperature. Overall, the service was good and birthday boy was happy.

This is a must try Peruvian restaurant while visiting #keybiscayne located just south of Miami Hands down the best ceviche we had on this trip.

Great dinner spot in Key Biscayne. All the dishes we had we had were great and the servers were all very nice too. We ordered the Arroz con Mariscos, Tacu Tacu Camaron, Camaron Calamar Hierro, and the Mariscos a la Parrilla. All were delicious but the last dish wjth the octopus was our favorite. Desserts were $12 each: we had the Cuatro Leches, Cheesecake Maracuya (passion fruit), and the Crema Volteada (Peruvian leche flan). Our favorite was the cheesecake, so creamy and fresh! The flan was good as well.

Gran Inka is very popular in Key Biscayne. We used to visit lots before covid. Now we order takeout to eat a home. CraZy times we live in... All time favorites are: Sampler de Ceviches Causa de Atun Causa de Pollo Lomo Saltado Pescado a la Chorrillana Yuca Frita con Huancaina All these are always on point and our fam favorites. Most can be shared. Definitely get a few items to share and enjoy!! Wash it all down with one or two pisco sours or even cusqueñas!

This past weekend we decided to take a nice afternoon drive to Key Biscayne and there is a nice little Peruvian restaurant that we always enjoyed when we are in the area. Located in a corner of a very welcoming strip mall you will find El Gran Inka, the interior is small but very homey and the staff are very friendly and helpful with recommendations or any specials that are being served that day. So we decided to order the following dishes, the fried yucca stuffed with gouda cheese, a fish ceviche, lomo salto, and the special of day quinoa with seafood. The first dish to arrive was yucca, very tasty and crispy in the outside while the melted cheese was not overpowering, just right amount of gooey. It also came with the famous yellow and creole sauce for dipping. The ceviche consisted of fresh sliced fish, the essential ceviche ingredients, of onions, sweet potato, and corn. The lomo salto which is the sauteed steak, was very tender and juicy while the french fries were very crispy and not greasy. The quinoa with seafood was good but I honestly expected it to be a little better. The seafood were very fresh but it a tomato based broth that over powered the plate.Overall I would recommend El Gran Inka for anyone in the neighborhood or for a nice romantic date.

This restaurant was pretty busy thought it would be good but I ordered this octopus with potatoes but the octopus was very rubbery and fishy. I've had octopus before that has been cooked well and is tender. This led me to believe it might not have been fresh. I decided not to order anything else after this experience.

There is a Gran Inka at the Dolphin Mall, but incomparable with the one at Key Biscayne. Meals are superior at Key Biscayne.

We are passionate about following expert award winning chefs so are critical of service, presentation and quality of food. And we travel around the world experiencing flavors of the world. Our recent experience at Novecento was spot on! Checking off all the boxes (as Paul Hollywood would say on the British Bake off ). We took advantage of the '34th anniversary lunch / dinner menu". A great 3 course meal at almost half the price and to top it off the '50% off Tuesday' special on the fabulous wine selections. My burrata and my husband's Ceviche = fabulous and generous. All 3 of us ordered NY Steak, again spot on - cooked as ordered, and a generous portion, and flavorful. I rarely order mashed potatoes and not only did I eat mine I had to help my aunt with hers too! The deserts- also something I generally skip - I couldn't resist; excellent Flan, outstanding Crepes with Dulce de Leche with spectacular vanilla ice cream. And the Wine!!! Absolutely amazing. Thank God my husband is quite a connoisseur of wines. It was fabulous to the last drop. Luis Perez was our waiter and he was truly focused on our any everyone's needs. Not missing a beat to make sure orders were paced nicely, not crowding you or rushing you - so your intimate moment was unforgettable ! Congratulations for the service and food BRAVO . Knowing that this iconic spot at the Mandarin Oriental was closing soon, we knew that we had to make our special dinner reservation here. We felt incredibly lucky to experience the beautiful waterfront views from Brickell Key and Chef Diego Oka's incredible cooking one last time at this location. We started with the La Mar Golden Platter ($95), a delicious spread of ceviches and causas that perfectly showcased the bright, fresh flavors La Mar is known for. For some, this sampler would be enough to call it an evening but we still had room for something else so we went with the Lomo Saltado ($40). Although this is a classic dish made at many Peruvian restaurants, it's the best Lomo Saltado we've ever had, no exaggeration! The dish featured tender, high-quality strip loin and packed so much flavor that we genuinely considered licking the plate clean. La Mar should consider bottling this sauce for purchase in the future. The beverages were fantastic, as well! I went with a Lychee Pisco Sour, and my wife went with a Chicha Morada. We wrapped up the evening with a Sticky Toffee Pudding served with sesame ice cream, which came with a lit candle to celebrate our 11-year anniversary. While it's bittersweet to say goodbye to this picturesque location, we're excited to follow La Mar and Chef Diego Oka and his team to their new home closer to the heart of the Brickell Financial District. This experience at La Mar was truly an anniversary dinner we'll never forget.
