I highly recommend both. You cannot choose your tour guide, but if you were able to, I would highly recommend Senne. Don't be fooled by Senne's young appearance. This young man can recite the history of Granada and answer all kinds of difficult questions. What I really appreciated about Senne is how he is able to connect all of the stories together and give you a comprehensive view of all of the tours you may have taken even outside Granada. Going back to the tours, the Essential Must Do tour gives you an overall glimpse of all important areas in Granada so that you know where to go deeper on your own. As for the evening tour, you get a beautiful view of the nighttime view of Alhambra as well as see the interesting "cave" house of the Gypsies.

Located just on the outskirts of Granada, it is very easy to access the city centre by bus, the bus station is about 200m away from the motel entrance. The motel itself is great, it has a modern appearance and is very clean. The rooms are spacious and clean. We had a double room which came with bed, desk, colour/satellite TV, wardrobe, bathroom with bath&shower and free Wi Fi. The rate of 59 euros per night includes breakfast in the café, which is located above reception. Breakfast consists of a hot drink (tea, coffee or chocoalte) and either a croissant, toast or a cake from the selection. The croissant I ordered was huge and came with jam and butter and was more than sufficient. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the reception has plenty of info and books on Granada and the Alhambra.

It's…read morevery conveniently located- from the hotel, it's a short walk (5 min) to most of the sights in "Modern" Granada and a ~20 min (uphill) walk to the Alhambra. The lobby, hallway, and rooms all retain the architecture of the house from which the hotel was converted. The service (both by the maid staff and the front desk staff) is excellent, and they speak English. Unfortunately, a couple issues prevent me from giving the hotel a higher review. First, a faint smell of sewage greeted me each time I opened the room door. Sure, it was faint, and sure, it seemed to go away after a few minutes (i.e. I got used to it), but a sewage smell is a sewage smell. Less importantly, the wifi didn't work well in the room (and was weak even in the lobby). This is an issue in many hotels we visited in Andalusia though, so I'd recommend purchasing a local 3G/4G sim card from Vodafone.

Supposed to be with fish and seafood but could not find any besides some rubbery little tiny cubes of squid. There were three "prawns" per person on the rice placed as an afterthought. They were barely warm. And they were dirty. I'm had to de-vein and clean out the sand. Tarta de queso for dessert was a sheet pan tarte and dry. They need to do some homework.
