    Sweetheart table

We had an incredible experience here. We chose Grand Affairs initially because of the staff and because they have a chapel in the same building. Jaki was our event coordinator and she managed to give us all the things we hoped for and then some! They have many colors to chose from for tablecloths, overlays, and napkins. Our daughter was thrilled with the decor. They accommodated our desire for a candy bar and allowed to make a photo corner. We chose a sit down meal and it was a hit. The chicken marsala, green beans, and mashed potatoes, were loved by all. We also had a last minute emergency with our cake and they recommended a wonderful bakery (Bliss Bakery) who take care of us in less than a week. We were allowed to bring in our own DJ and our guests danced the night away! Thank you Grand Affairs for making our daughters wedding a night she and her husband will never forget.

Meh. The venue feels like an express wedding venue. 1 ceremony room and 3 banquet rooms all encompassed on a small hallway meaning that the ceremony room is used back to back to back. It made the bride and groom feel rushed to have to evacuate so quickly for the next bride. Following the ceremony, the reception also made us very aware that we were one of many as our neighbor's DJ got going while my uncle said a prayer. The staff was polite enough to ask them to turn their music down a bit, which resolved the sound issue. The bride and groom selected a buffet for their meal - serving a baked ziti (the sauce was compared to tomato paste by a fellow attendee), roast beef (basically thick sliced roast beef lunch meat covered in gravy, which is standard for banquet facilities), and chicken portions (I was not a fan but someone at my table was really impressed), caesar salad, vegetables, and oven roasted potatoes. I will say no one went hungry, but other than the one lady at my table who liked the chicken, I didn't hear anything amazing. Just meh. Now I'm going to get a little nit picky. Had the rest of the experience been amazing these wouldn't be deal breakers. They are just a couple more things that made my experience meh. First of all, the cash bar had all their prices ending in change, so every time you purchased a drink you were left with quarters. A little obnoxious. Could they not round their drink prices to a round dollar? Secondly, they have a changing table in the ladies room, but it's stuck in a corner, doesn't fold down properly and basically feels like you are being punished for bringing a child to their facility. Overall, I had a good time at the wedding, but I credit the wedding party and not the venue. I think we would have had a blast in my back yard. The staff was pleasant, but I can't imagine this being the perfect venue for my wedding.

I had my wedding here in October of '17 and it was amazing. The place was beautifully decorated. Jaki was phenomenal in helping answer all of my questions and she did a fantastic job in making sure we had everything we needed and more. The food was great! All of my guests raved about the food. I honestly can't imagine having a better experience ESPECIALLY if you are on a budget. Great job!

Established in 1980, and the decor is all still original! Parking is horrible and the place is dated and requires updating.

Disappointed, food was served cold. Dessert was frozen. Staff lied to owner about their actions. Will never recommend this to anyone.

I believe this place is fairly new, because I so remember something else being in this spot some years ago. However, I could be wrong, but let's focus on present day... I was invited to a 50th birthday celebration here last Saturday. I had a general idea of where the place was located since I am sorta familiar with the area being a native and all. But we arrived close to 7pm and everything was all set up. My friend advised us to arrive at 6:45pm because it was a surprise party for her husband... so we popped in and everything was in tact. Even the workers were on their post awaiting to great the guest and provide service. I especially loved seeing this! I don't know about you, but I have been places where people are still setting up or put the early arrival guest in a waiting area until the main area is set. Well not at 757 events, they were on point!! I can be long winded when writing reviews, but I like to give yall an experience and feel how I felt when I visited. Especially, since this is the first review... This place is really all the rage!! Not too big of a event space, but just the right size to entertain a group of 100 maybe more. But a few tables were set up along with a few cocktail tables... a club lounge vibe it gave. I believe the owner decorate the spot, so my friend gave a vision and it came to life last Saturday night. Another big plus... the owner catered the event. The buffet set up is away from the party people... I loved this!!! I didn't have to worry about smelling like food or even the venue smelling like food! The bar set up... another big plus!! I believe the bartender was set up through the owner and he was on point too. Even though he was a one man show, he kept the drinks flowing... no complaints, all smiles!! Now the parking lot is rather small. I did not notice if more parking was behind the building. But if you arrive early enough no worries here, as we did. Overall, this place is gorgeous and far as I can see ran properly and with love! You can tell whoever is behind this, loves what they do. I highly recommend you look into this venue space for your party needs big or small. Take care and enjoy life :)

She is such a joy to work with. For someone like me that worries about every little detail, I felt comfortable leaving it all to her. She is professional, kind and makes sure you are at ease during the entire process. I told her exactly what my vision was and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND. The staff that was there on the day of my event were also very friendly and professional. We loved the bartender. Most importantly, the food was delicious. Not one complaint was given. You will not be disappointed if you book with 757 events. They handle it ALL, food, decorations, liquor, DJ if needed. My husband had the best surprise party ever. I will book here time and time again. Thank you, Karen, and your wonderful staff!

Broad Bay is mainly known for it's beautiful golf course, but the pool with recent enhancements is just what they needed. BB does offer tennis too. Broad Bay Country Club is located off of Great Neck Rd. across from Cox H.S. It can get confusing finding the pool from the main entrance which is Stonehaven. Turn onto Lords Landing from Great Neck (may need to pull a u-turn if approaching from the North) and make a right at the wooden BB sign and drive up the hill. Parking is just past the pool and pretty plentiful even on swim meet days. The pool is six lanes 25 meters and is rectangular with no bump outs for diving etc . Deck space is limited. A wooden arbor area on the road side allows for limited seating and has a baby pool. Depth at the shallow end is approximately 3.5 ft and deep end 7 ft. A new large area opposite the road had a new slab put in to level a previous space off. It now boast a large canopy over the entire space and is used for events as well as seating for swim meets. It nicely done with hanging chandeliers and fire pit.. Also a new wooden structure was recently built outside the pool to post results and put up fliers of all sorts for the club. The pool sets on beautiful real estate right off the golf course. I have always found the grounds surrounding the pool to be well maintained. If you are a member of the club this is really a great space for a family to enjoy. I am not a member of this club, but from my four years of helping around this pool I would recommend checking them out for membership.

We ordered takeaway Easter brunch that needed to be pre-heated before serving. We had a choice of shrimp and grits or salmon but since we had a larger order we were able to do half and half and have the best of both worlds. Ordering and paying ahead before the deadline online was simple! If you have questions prior to ordering just call. We had certain requests and were informed over the phone it was feasible but to type it in under the special instructions box when ordering. Everything was delivered as ordered and promised! No issues at all! Once we arrived we just called and the gentleman came out promptly to our car with a cart and our Easter brunch neatly and carefully packaged in sturdy brown handled paper bags. The kind gentleman showed us the reheating instructions and explained to us briefly the timing. He took care to inform us which bag to keep horizontal so it would not spill. It was stapled shut and handed to us in the horizontal position as well. Hence to avoid confusion and prevent disastrous spillage. This was greatly appreciated! The food was neatly and carefully packaged with each aluminum sturdy container marked with its contents. Once again very smart and greatly appreciated! We just had to pop in the entire container in the oven. No fuss, no muss. Most items ranged from 10-12 minutes to re-heat some 15-20 minutes. The quality and quantity of food did not disappoint!! Pricing is definitely not cheap but the amount and quality of food is without a doubt worth every penny!! Even better was that none of us had to cook! Win win!! EVERYTHING was delicious! But the real stars were the grand marnier bread pudding, which not everyone can get bread pudding right, but this was heaven on earth for sure! The salmon was cooked perfectly. It was flavorful and a good size. The shrimp and andouille sausage shrimp and grits were hearty and delightful! Crab cakes with aioli.. slap me happy with seafood -very good! The food list goes on and on.. and I'm not complaining! The mushroom quiche with goat cheese was another big hit along with the breakfast foods of honey baked ham with pineapples and pecan and applewood bacon. We are soo full we haven't even tried the coconut pie! Thank you,Traditions, for helping to make our Easter a pleasant one with our bellies full and content. Feeling very blessed! Thank you, Jesus, and Amen!! P.S. Thank you Shawn Hoffman for calling us back to answer our questions!

There were Christmas trees, Christmas lights strung, and the tables were gorgeous with green and red linens and white chinaware. Along the wall was a beautiful display of hors d'oeuves like artichoke and spinach dip with crackers and pita points, cheese, and fruit. The dip was delicious! They had coffee, lemonade, tea for drink. The servers gave out the salad. It was lovely display of greens with cucumber and tomato. On the table were the boats of ranch or Italian vinaigrette. This also was delicious. On the far back wall was where they had the buffet style dinner. They had roasted potatoes, rice pilaf, and asparagus for the sides. The potatoes and asparagus were perfectly seasoned and cooked. I didn't feel the same for the rice. It was completely tasteless and left me disappointed. The main entrees were roasted sirloin with horseradish sauce and a pepper crusted salmon with mango cilantro. The sirloin was not really hot and also not seasoned well enough. The sauce was delicious though. The salmon was picturesque. It looked like it was out of a cooking magazine, and I wanted to love this so much buuuut my salmon was just a tad undercooked. I want to make this clear: everyone I talked to enjoyed their meal. I had someone tell me their salmon was over cooked. I had another loved their roast. And another dislike it as much as I did. There was a complete mix of opinion when it came to their food. Maybe it was just the menu selection that was chosen. Anyway, this place was great! I'd definitely come back again. The servers were great, the decor was lovely. Come check them out!
