They used to be great. Something happened/changed. In my…read morecase, I was given an estimate for treatment. After treatment, the bill came back twice as high as the estimate. As they will repeatedly point out, the fine print will tell you it's an estimate and not a guarantee. When you are in the chair for a checkup, they ask if you want a fluoride treatment but do not tell you insurance doesn't cover it or what it costs. This dentist randomly came up in a conversation with my neighbor. They were told they needed a crown by one of the dentists there, but on a follow up visit with a different dentist, they were told they didn't need a crown. We are looking elsewhere from now on.

I had oral surgery as my tooth was extracted & the socket filled with cadaver bone to begin the seven month grafting period. There was also a suspicious lump on my tongue that was removed for biopsy. I noticed it a year ago & forgot about it. People, this Covid thing has us all going nuts, so take care of yourself. Especially now. Dr. Bonine has on average seven emergencies a day. So if they fit you in to take care of your emergency, relax & enjoy the beautiful building & landscaping. There is also a lovely outdoor area, if you prefer to wait outside. Sorry to be this wordy, but I wanted to make a special attempt to thank the doc and his staff for make what potentially could have been a horrible day into a very pleasant day. BTW - Fear of needles here, there was no pain. Beautiful office overlooking a lovely pond with tons of birds. Great music & especially great people. The hygienists, assistants, techs, etc are equally as great. I see Dr. Birchmeier and I think he is a great dentist. He has his quirky dentist jokes and asks questions when he has his hands in your mouth! He really cares about his patients and when you have work done other than cleaning, he makes sure it's done right and looks great. The patient area is open and bright. So if you hate the dentist, this set up will help out with the anxiety. It's not a white sterilized room with tools laying around. And they have TV's on the ceiling!

I went there to have a crown done and the dental lab told me that is was the worst crown prep they…read morehad ever seen and they could not make a crown for it and to not go back to that dentist. Now I have to pay out of pocket to get my tooth fixed and the worst part was that they billed me for the whole service when I didn't even have the crown made or put in! It doesn't help that the receptionist is dumber than a box of rocks.
