I was on vacation at The European Lifestyle hotel 2 blocks away…read more I passed this place often going to Soriano,s for groceries. One day I stopped in to check it out. It's a small Casino, but friendly enough to sit and take a chance. I didn't like the fact I had to give my passport every time I won money because they already had my info. The manager, Daniel was very nice and offered food & wine which I paid for but now hearing that others didn't pay for their drinks or food. WTH, Lol! I know where I'm from we don't pay for drinks either, but it's Mexico so I thought it did not apply. I will go back b4 I leave to inquire, and take another chance at winning some money. I'm not really a gambler but I thought I'd try my hand at what Mexico had to offer. Different place better chances. I often win when I take Cruises, especially on the 1st night in the ship because the machines are full. Lol! I'm in Guadalajara on business & leisure. It's been a great experience so far. The people are very friendly & proud hard working people. I like that! Safe as well.

CAUTION!!! I spent…read morethe whole day today trying to get the TV to work. I reported it the first night I checked in two days ago and they were supposed to take care of it the next day but nothing but excuses. Someone finally came to my room to look at the issue today (two days after) but they couldn't resolve it. Spent hours while they scratched their heads and tried to make excuses that weren't valid. Meanwhile, I was stuck in the room the whole time so I could show them and explain to them what the issues were. They finally changed me to another room where the TV was working, but not until my having to supervise and push everything from the moment I woke up until about 3 PM today. Then they switched me to another room, which meant I had to pack up all my things from the one room, move them to another floor and unpack again. Also, the first night I went to take a shower and there was no water pressure in the shower so I reported that and they came and fixed that the next day. I am including that in this review so as to say while the hotel looks nice on the inside. It is a very old building and they have problems with infrastructure. Another time when I stayed here the knob for turning on & off the hot water broke off. I figured things happen, but it seems like each time I've been here something happens and it's not easy to get it resolved and I waste my vacation time dealing with it. And while most of the people here are pleasant as are most of the people I've encountered in Guadalajara, there is one woman who works in the Hotel restaurant who has a bad attitude. She is not very pleasant and essentially rude and gives snotty looks at you. I reported her on previous trips and again today. And what I've come to find out by two employees the last time I was here is that she is like that to everybody. And that made me feel better because I didn't know what I had done to not only dislike me, but physically show her dislike to me. I will be looking at better options. You should look at better options also.
