They still offer a lot of 2nd hand bikes and bargains as well as a huge range of brand new ones. The staff are really helpful and always happy to have a chat about any good trails nearby. It arrived in one day. Their prices are very good, they don't charge for shipping, and they ship unbelievably quickly. I haven't been there in person, but if they are as friendly and responsive in shop as they are by email it'd be worth the hour and a half train ride from where I am now.

They don't do appointments so you have to take your bike down, to their place just off Hove seafront, discuss the problems, leave the bike and wait to be contacted to pick it up again. When I collected my bike, they fitted a new free-wheel mechanism and a new chain at a very reasonable price. I rode my bike home to Woodingdean, in light rain and the bike is as good as the time when I bought it new and first road it. The shop looks small from the outside but as it is set over 2 floors it increases the floor space dramatically. The beauty of this shop is that it offers equipment for sports that you can otherwise struggle to find and they can give you a good insight into what equipment will suit you best. The 2 guys that own it I am almost certain are father and son and everytime I go in there they are both there involved in something. The first time I found out about this shop was when my friend took me to get his shirt printed with his name and number which they do brilliantly and can do all the proper lettering for most sports which really helps to make your shirt feel real. If you need something please go here first as this local shop really deserves, and has earned, our loyalty.
