They are a really sweet couple who were really nice and helpful. Went in not having a clue what I wanted, saw a bike already available and despite being a male bike, asked to buy it. They insisted I wait to get a female bike which wasn't finish yet, and dropped what they were doing started working on it. I had to wait an hour for them to fix it even though I didn't really want it but felt bad as they were putting a lot of effort in, plus we were having a nice conversation.
Bike finished, they sold me the bike, attached a basket, two LED lights and gave me a brand new bike lock for £100. On the cycle home, I noticed it was making loud clicking noises and the front light fell off.
Only had the bike for 3 months and had so many problems with it! Brakes stopped working, gears didn't work properly and it was generally a bad bike.
Tried twice to go in but we closed both times, despite their opening times poster saying they were meant to be open. Rang the number I found online and it was wrong! Took the bike to halfords and they told me it would cost me over £100 to fix it and it still won't be perfect so they recommended I get a new one. They said they weren't surprised I got a bad bike from there.
In conclusion, I really regret getting my bike there as it has caused me a lot of stress and misery! They are lovely people but shouldn't be repairing bikes, because mine wasn't safe!! read more
