I have been a resident at Grandeville for the past 10 months and I am happy I chose to live at this community. The ladies in the office made my move in process very smooth and enjoyable! After my move in I have been getting a very attentive and prompt service from the team, I appreciate the maintenance staff (Rick, Joe and Milton) who are knowledgeable and address repairs in a timely manner. Very odd management team. They rarely answer the phone if ever. They rarely respond to emails if ever. They rarely respond to texts if ever. And we are a POTENTIAL client. They made an appointment they did not honor. Now it seems like they do not want to even allow us to see the apartment before renting. VERY STRANGE. You want folks to sign rental contracts without seeing the property? Why? What are you hiding? It makes sense now that their non robot reviews are all 1 Star reviews. read more

I wouldnt let my worst enemy rent from this godforsaken apartment complex. When I first moved in I had discovered bed bugs in my unit, the leasing office blamed it on me and forced me to pay 1300 through Massey Pest Control, and if I refused the treatment I would be financially responsible for every other unit in my building if they needed treatment as well. fast forward a couple of months, a roach here a roach there, I start investigating and find a whole nest near my dishwasher. I have gotten them to treat my unit 3 times and nothing has changed. The pest control technician arrives, sprays a line of pesticide on my floor, puts two glue traps down and calls it a job well done. I have rented from multiple complexes before and have never dealt with such negligence. I should have read reviews before hand and done a more thorough inspection before moving in. For anyone skeptical just pull your refrigerator away from the wall and inspect the bottom, I guarantee you will find a vomit inducing sight. God bless anyone that has read this, don't give this place your business , it's not worth your mental sanity. read more

I do not recommend living at this residence. I have lived here a total of 3 years. When I attempted to find out the necessary steps to remove myself off the lease even offering to pay my part due to being harassed , encountering Verbal and Mental abuse by the other resident in the apartment . I was advised if the other resident does not sign off I can't be released. I was unaware that I would be forced to sit through this kind of abuse and the complex not provide other options to be removed. read more

This community has been really awesome so far. I've been here for the last six months. They communicate effectively through email, several amenities, move in was affordable, and it is a beautiful complex. Maintenance is excellent and responds quickly even after hours for urgent calls. I have a friend who lives here and I had considered renting an apartment here. I don't know how she can put up with the things going on here. I stayed a couple of days and just in that couple of days decided that I would not live here. I'm hoping she will move out when her lease is up, if not, sooner. First, the dog poop. I've read some of the other reviews and thought they were exaggerating. Nope! It's true. Then the part of the pot smokers. It's worse than what I read. Day or night, either smoking it or looks like drug deals. It's insane! Avoid the dead end corners of the parking lots. No point in being gated.They should really consider cameras. The neighbors! Sounds like WWE or construction! It's an everyday almost all day occurrence. I get it, they're apartments but have some consideration. read more

Renters beware. This place is not all it's cracked up to be. When you move out they will try and stick it to you. They claim they charge a $199 cleaning fee . Yet when you move out your going to get another bill with charges to clean the fridge , clean bathrooms , a bill if trash is in the trash can left outside for the valet trash service that is mandatory. Your final water bill will be nearly double even if you moved out halfway through the month. They will charge you for pest control even though no pest control was ever done. The spider problem was so bad outside the front doors I personally had to kill and spray for spiders on a weekly basis . . The staff is rude . Don't fall for the $199 fee it's a scam so they can send you a larger bill when you move out. read more

They allow pets. We are not pet owners, our roommates were....however I am constantly vacuuming up pet hair from our bedrooms that have ALWAYS been closed off to the pets. I do not typically have pet allergies but the "left over" pet dander is horrible in the bedroom. I was constantly vacuuming up pet hair (in the bedroom the pets were NOT allowed. There is dog poop everywhere outside. People let their pets pee on the sidewalk. The basketball court is open from dusk until dawn, however people (not even from the apartment complex) play basketball all hours of the night which you can hear clear as day and they do nothing about it, even though we brought it up to management a few times. People are constantly sneaking in through the fence by lifting the slats and cutting the chain link fence in the back. There were a couple of times we had the windows open and smelled marajuana comung from the basketballcourt. There are constantly people at the pool who do not live at the apartments, one lady even letting her kid climb the gate to the pool to open it and prop the gate open. ALL of this is NOT regulated nor do they show any concern when we brought the issues to them multiple times. The people in the front office are very nice, however when you ask a question always expect to get multiple conflicting answers and it remained that way even after we moved out. As for settling the final bills with them- good thing we asked for an itemized statement because we were being charged for a few things that we shouldn't have been. Yes they did adjust it.... After about an hour of being in the office. My recommendation is: MAKE SURE YOU READ THE RENTAL AGREEMENT.... ALL OF IT. Make sure you know what the "fees" cover and don't cover that are non-refundable.. I have rented before and have dealt with poor management, but this one really takes the cake. read more

Moved in recently. i like many other read the reviews online and took the tour, and even though the single bedroom apartment is extremely pricey, i still went with it. after moving in that is when you start to notice the small things. One, you get charged for for everything....literally nothing is included. two, one of the things you pay for is pest control.....within the first week we were seeing roaches in out apartment. we barely have anything in the apartment and are very clean, yet roaches almost daily. Number three, the dog crap.......we have a dog....and literally i think i am the only one who picks up her "business" I honestly think no one else bothers too. there is crap every where!!!!!! when i take my dog out at night, it is like navigating a mine field. Number four, the amount of trash all over, and the falling apart wood deck give off the feeling of a slum center almost, not too mention that teens smoking weed are in every corner making walks around the complex uncomfortable. Number five, the A/C units....are from like the early 90's. and very badly maintained. the coils on mine look horrendous, and it took over a month of complaining to finally get a filter. All in all for the amount we pay.....i honestly believe we deserve better. read more
