I had an appointment with a confirmation email that I booked on their online app for Saturday April 25th at 10:30am with Victor. I got there at 10:20. The next morning on Sunday April 26th at 10:50am the receptionist calls me to say that I had an appointment with Victor at 10:45 that morning. I had not made that appointment, she insisted that I did it online and that I was a no show and would have to pay the no show fee. I told her we have been clients there for over 10 years and never missed or were late for any appointments ever. She said well you missed this one and it's a no show. I told her I won't pay the fee and that I did not receive any confirmation email. We ended the call, and I went back into my emails. I called her back and went over every single email I received including their annual intake form which I filled out before my appointment, I went over the feedback email and dates and times and told her that I do not have any email that indicates that I made an appointment and did not keep it. She said well you did, you did it online and you are a no show. I told her again we have been coming for ever 10 years, and I would not pay this fee as it must be some issue on their end. She said, we are revoking your privileges till you pay. I told her not to bother revoking my privileges, as neither I or my husband will ever return there - and she told me OK, I will make a note of that on your file. I have gone to Victor, George, Frank, Valeria and years before June and Benja for our therapy. We will not return. This is the difference that poorly trained customer service staff make on your business. RMT's here work at other locations too, and with many locations in Milton for massages, there is zero reason to ever come back here. This is how they treat a 10+ year customer. Zero customer service skills. That's what makes or breaks your business.

You can definitely go the way of "quiet relaxation" or "chatty bursts" during your massage, and they're good with either, readily adapting to your massage style. They'll also completely tailor your massage to what you're saying, but treat it holistically (eg. My neck was Death for a week before I wandered in; they worked not just my neck, but the rest of the interconnected muscles that were contributing to the stiff neck - all the way down to my lower back). Shawna is my go-to (she has amazing pressure, and enough strength to tackle even my knotted back muscles), but you're always free to go to other therapists if your usual isn't available for the day you need. I've also seen Dara, Rachel, and Kristen - all lovely ladies as well. The online booking system is super convenient as well, and you can book up to the day beforehand online. They also do direct billing for your coverage, which is lovely. Highly, highly recommend.

I had a private room with deep wooden tub to soak in for 25 minutes. They provided a cold face cloth, ice lemon water and hot tea to sip on. The rep knocked on my door to alert me to get ready for the salt cave. I took a quick shower to rinse off (towels provided) and got dressed. I put on slippers (they provide) and grabbed a blanket and headed into the healing salt cave that was 65 degrees. I relaxed in the zero gravity chair/recliner, wrapped in the blanket, listened to relaxing music and the sound of water. What a great experience this was. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It has all these beautiful crystals and geodes around inside of it. No Touch Massage chairs are sooooo good. If you can't get into the RMT or just want a bit of an in between massage to get you through, they are better than gym massage chairs! I've seen 3 RMTs there (just to check them out) they are all incredible - highly recommend. Red light therapy: Imagine a large booth with two giant medical grade red light panels. It's Also Bluetooth enabled so I could listen to a meditation through my session. #winning Infrared Sauna: I prefer dry heat over the wet saunas. The coolest part is it also does the dry salt therapy while you're in there. Double benefit! Facial Stretch Therapy: This was a cool experience. Essentially it's a session of integrated stretching and movements to help your body with pain or recovery. Highly recommend. Eminence Skin Care: They carry a line of Eminence Skin Care and the quality of these products are beyond anything else I've tried. I had a facial done by the esthetician, it was my first and it felt so good. My skin was amazing, and she did a relaxation massage during the process. The location is so convenient too. It's right off the 401 at Hwy 6 South or Brock Road. Honestly, I am so grateful for the opportunities to visit Let It Be Halotherapy.
