On Thursday October 23, over 400 plus guests attended a lavish evening at Granite Links with food and beverages, Sponsored by Quincy 400, Eastern Bank plus The Next Chapter Books! In honor of Boston Native Author, Writer, Producer Dennis Lehane at a Lecture, Meet and Greet, along with a Book Signing of his published 14 Novels. This anticipated event brought the hundreds of area fans to hear and learn of his journey from his First Novel, "A Drink Before the War", published in 1994. Which began a series of crime novels. He quickly became New York Times Best-Selling Author with novels such as Gone, Baby, Gone in 1998, Mystic River in 2001 His Most Famous Novel), Shutter Island in 2003, The Given Day in 2008, Small Mercies in 2023 plus many more. Dennis Lehane has had his Novels adapted to Major Films. Besides his Book writing he has written for Netflix, HBO, plus Apple TV. He is also in development of his next Series for Apple TV along with adapting three of Author Stephen Kings Novels. With Dennis Lehane's organizational brilliance his passion is felt in his works! With him seated on stage along with Moderator Rob "Hardy" Poole, from 98.5 Sports Hub , begins his Introduction of Author Lehane by giving the audience abit of back story of his life in Boston, talking about he was raised in Dorchester, his Education and his entrance as a published Author. Along with the Awards Dennis Lehane has received. He turns the interview over to Dennis Lehane who quickly enlightened his guests all fixated on every word and stories, plus facts and he told all of us that he "Loved the Quarries", which reminded him of a story he heard about, "A young gentleman diving in the Quincy Quarries to be impaled by a car antenna thru his eye"! You could hear the gasps coming from the guests. He did mention he wasn't sure if it was true or not but it definitely made his stories abit more interesting to hear! He recalled as a youth that living in Dorchester, " That all the girls were heavily Catholic.....so he came to Quincy"! A bit of levity made the audience laugh! You could tell he was very comfortable speaking honestly and how he enjoys to write about his characters as "just people" and characters in "extreme situations". He cares about the journey his characters takes plus he premised that his next Novel might have "A Tiger Mom and let her loose against the Irish Mob in Boston". Dennis Lehane spoke about his time with his "Favorite Actor", Ray Liotta with abit of levity. Toward the end of the lecture he mentioned to a very happy room full of guests that, "Small Mercies soon to be shot here". He spent 50 years here in Boston before moving to Los Angeles with his wife. After, he took questions from the audience and after a huge line was formed for his one on one book signing! The room was electric with joy. A gracious and grateful Guest of Honor, Dennis Lehane, truly gave his adoring fans a night to remember! A heartfelt "THANK YOU", to our Mayor Koch, and all Quincy Staff that made this Event Possible and Memorable! Granite Links gave this event the best Service and Attention and the food and beverages were well displayed and tasty and the bartenders were very attentive! Thank you for a great time at this beautiful establishment!

Beautiful spot to view a fantastic sky line . Food is delicious and our waiter Tom was very attentive. The wine glasses were extremely spotty. I would suggest someone to look them over first and clean them with a cloth before serving wine.

I'd put it at more of a 3.5 stars rating which is still pretty good in my book. We came here for brunch with a group of 8 on a busy weekend. The food was fine - what you would expect as standard brunch fare. I got the steak omelette which was huge and filling. The waffle was pretty standard but they were generous with the berries. My mocktail was tasty but the blueberry one that my wife got was way too sweet and syrupy. The views of the city and golf course was nice. You'll definitely be paying higher prices as expected with dining at a clubhouse but the portions are large. Anyways it was a fine experience and my rating is meant to reflect that it met my expectations going in.

Been here for several occasions and always had a good experience! The service is always great and everyone has loved their meals here. My favorites have been the steak tips and the spinach and artichoke dip.

We had a wonderful afternoon lunch at the Tavern at Granite Links! Open to the public with a beautiful view of the Boston skyline, I highly recommend a meal at the Tavern. We started with a round of cranberry margaritas. I'm not sure if this is a seasonal winter drink or on the menu year round, but it's definitely something I'll be recreating at home. Not too sweet and not too bitter, it really hits the spot! For our appetizers, we ordered Grandma's meatballs, arancini, and the shrimp cocktail. The dishes came out piping hot and were the perfect amount for the 5 of us. Chef Paul even came out to check on us and shared that the meatballs were his own grandma's recipe! For my entree, I ordered the wilted spinach salad. The star of the dish was the cashew dressing that has a spicy kick to it. What a way to amp up a salad! If you're not afraid of flavor, this is the salad for you. My husband ordered the prime rib sandwich, which was warm and hearty, perfect for the cold winter day. Our server Meghan was so friendly and attentive. She ensured we had everything we needed and was prompt with both our wine and water. I will definitely be requesting her next time I dine at Granite Links.

I've been here on 3 separate occasions: my rehearsal dinner, for my colleague's wedding, and for lunch/driving range. Honestly, this place has amazing food and really friendly staff. Oh and it's really darn pretty! For my rehearsal dinner, I had a more casual cocktail buffet style dinner located in the side room next to the Tavern. We had different stations: taco, southern station, tenderloin, salad, pasta, and ice cream. We probably had way too many stations but it was so delicious. For my colleague's wedding, the cocktail hour was in the tent. There was charcuterie, cocktail shrimp, lamb chops, and other items. The servers made their rounds frequently. The drinks were great too! The ballroom was nice and had a patio that overlooks the skyline. The food again was great. Then I came here for the driving range and stopped at the tavern for lunch. I got the haddock and my husband got the Nashville pizza. BOMB! I usually don't rave this hard about a place but I've had wonderful experiences here. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful scenery! I found this gem on Yelp and we went to go try this place! We went for just the driving range and going at sunset was beautiful! We got a pitcher of the strawberry lemonade drink I wanna say and it's pretty strong and doesn't taste too sweet! The range is first come first serve we had to wait maybe 15 mins for a spot but grabbed a drink and just watched people hit! They're open til about 10 on the weekdays and have lights that come on when it gets dark! We haven't tried the food but a bucket of balls is only $15! What a steal! Plenty of parking too thats no extra charge!

    This shot says it all!

Both were good but the skins were very good. Come to find out That "The Fours "restaurant cook for the Loft ... Entrees were the Lobster roll ,chicken wrap and Hot Pastrami. Lobster roll I'm told was ok, on small side for $30. Hot pastrami was boiled. I personally like it fried. I find fried to retain more flavor and it came on a cold bulkie roll. I like grilled dark rye. Oh well. Onion rings were ok though. Not home made but still ok. Never understood why restaurants don't make them by hand. Sooo much better. That lil extra touch makes the meal. I'm told the chicken wrap was ok. Men's room could use more attention or give lessons to the men on how to aim. There was urine all over floor ...also had no hand towels to dry hands. I had to tell the hostesses. A clean bathroom tells me the kitchen is clean. Overall the best part of experience was the stunning atmosphere and view. If they worked on food aspect ,this place would be packed every nite.

Walked in and it wasn't busy, pretty dimly lit insides but I appreciated that there were plenty of tvs to watch the games. Plenty of seating by the window, bar top and booths. For starters it took forever for the waitress to bring waters, that I had to ask for. When we asked basic questions about the menu, Laura acted as if we were bothering her. She forgot to put in drinks and then go upset that the food I ordered wasn't up to par. Philly egg rolls - 4/10 they are definitely pre made, like weeks in advance most likely because they were so rubbery and hard to even bite. I mentioned this to the waitress and she demanded that they remake them vs me not wanting them anymore. (We ordered two orders of them and I only sent one back) Calamari 2/10 -it was soggy and then drenched in like a nasty marinara sauce. We made the waitress aware of this as well and she had it remade although I specifically stated I didn't want it, and would even still pay for it. Lamb burger 6/10 -the lamb was juicy but could use a little more flavor. The fries were soggy but okay BYO burger 3/10 - wasn't prepared as we asked, and it really just taste like ground beef and that's all. Even with the added toppings Cowboy burger 7/10 - wasn't bad but if it didn't have onion rings etc on it then it would taste bland like the other burger Lamb lollipops - 8/10 - these were good and had a decent amount of flavor to them. The jalapeños on the side are extremely spicy and good "Buffalo chicken" nachos 3/10 - there was barely any Buffalo chicken on the nachos, they seem to put the shredded cheese on the chips and then melt the so they're hard to pull apart. On top of tasting stale. I used the jalapeños from the lamb to eat with nachos to give them more flavor Salmon w/ jasmine rice 7.5/10- the salmon was a little dry but paired well with the jasmine rice. Could use a little sauce on the side but it was good Sweet heat wings 8/10 - these were really good and were cooked well. The sauce isn't too spicy and just the right amount of sweetness Drinks - Blueberry limeade 2/10 - taste like juice and had to go to the bar to ask for it because the waitress didn't put it in. When I went to ask the bartender if the drink was ready, since I couldn't find the waitress, she made the drink on the spot for me. Apple cider margarita - 5/10 wasn't horrible but the rim on the glass was excessive and mainly taste of cider.

We ordered four items: rice rolls with curry fish balls, an egg custard lava bun, Ovaltine French toast, and the fried chicken bolo bao. The rice rolls were mild but fine, topped with enough cilantro and scallion to keep it interesting. The lava bun was hot, gooey, and did its job. (GOOD JOB, LAVA BUN!) The Ovaltine French toast? Eh, it aite. But here's the heartbreak: the chicken bolo bao. The chicken wasn't hot; it had that "sat around" feeling. And the bun? Just a dressed-up brioche, missing that true bo lo bao magic.
