We were half way through a 2 week vacation driving from NC to Colorado pulling a travel trailer when our power steering and power brakes stopped working. Thankfully we were in a Loves Gas station parking lot. After trying for an hour to find someone to help us Grant from Grant's garage and auto repair called me back and pretty much diagnosed the problem over the phone and said he would fix it even though he was short staffed (due to COVID). After having our truck towed to his garage he had it fixed in less than 24 hours and we were able to continue our trip back home. I was leaving Colorado headed home. I was about 14 miles from Burlington Colorado on I-70. Everything electrical in my car began going out on me, then died. I was towed into Burlington. The tow driver took me to Grants Garage. After checking out my car they found I needed an alternator and 5 fuses. The shop replaced all that was needed and I had my car car back by 5:00pm and ready to get back on the road. I could not have had a more RESPECTFUL, CONCERNED, PROFESSIONAL, EXPEDIENCY and AFFORDABLE from this business. All thanks goes to Grants Garage for helping me arrive back home safe and sound. On a trip from Denver along I70 our 1998 Toyota Tacoma pickup lost the left front wheel bearing. The truck was towed to Grant's garage. Grant James told me i would need a whole wheel assembly and because the truck was 21 years old he would have to order parts from Tennessee. It would take a week for the repair. Due to a snowstorm and lack of any public transportation out of Burlington i was stuck. Grant recommended a motel and asked his wife to take me there. He also made phone calls to find transportation for me back to Denver with an independent "taxi" a couple days later. A week later, as promised, Grant had the truck wheels repaired in excellent condition. The seevice was outstanding in every way. I highly recommend Grant's Garage. read more

I can't believe I'm only the 4th review. Evidently everyone and their great reviews are over on Google, but since I found this shop here on Yelp, here we go. I was passing through on the interstate in a vehicle that was new-to-me. I thought I heard a new sound so I decided to have a pro take a listen before proceeding, just to be safe. I found Grant's on Yelp and headed on over. The parking lot was packed. I went in and the lobby was spotless. I was immediately greeted by the clean and professional man at the desk. I explained the situation and he said he would come have a listen, even though he was clearly busy. He made small talk and patiently and non-judgmentally explained to me that big-block V-8's burn oil as he added 3 quarts, then went back for 2 more. Yeah, poor truck. It was at this point I saw his name patch. This was the owner of the shop, dropping what he was doing to save a silly damsel-in-distress (more like dumba** in distress, I'm sure we can all agree). He charged me $17 for the oil and I was on my way. Great mechanics are hard to find and Grant is truly one of a kind. read more

Grant and his team are amazing. If you need auto repair in or around Burlington CO you can do no better than Grant's. We are on vacation traveling on I-70 and needed the brakes repaired on our Explorer. I called Grant and he said sure bring it in. He got it in immediately and even recommended a local restaurant. Turns out the parts needed for the repair were not available in Burlington. Grant's very kind wife gave us a ride to a local hotel and one of his team picked us up in the morning after the parts came in and the repair was completed. The cost of the repair was reasonable and the work was done very timely--despite the parts delay. I give Grant and his team my highest recommendation. read more

We were traveling on I 70 and had car trouble on a Friday afternoon. Grant's Garage was the only open repair shop in the area that could fix our Honda. We greatly appreciate that he took the time to fit us in on his Friday afternoon. Upon return home we had the car double checked at our local dealership as we have had long-running electrical issues with the car. The dealership reported that the alternator was installed correctly and no other electrical issues remained. read more
