I've been here for a couple of weeks now. The first couple of week were horrible but this place is…read morestarting to grow on me. Didn't grow much though...There were rocks everywhere but I see they have cleaned up some. Bf cut his toe on one of the rocks during a game. The sand is not beach sand. It's construction sand...Sometimes it can get dirty with cigaret butts everywhere, empty beer bottles, dog poop, and random trash. I still have a couple of complaints: Their refs are not all on the same page. Some things are counted off and some are getting by with other refs. The blonde ref does not pay attention when she is working. She texts and drinks beer...not looking at the game. The bald ref counts EVERYTHING! if your hand is not completely together hitting a serve ball, you are done, son! he stops the game all the time and it gets annoying because we just want to play. We are not pros!!!! Another complaint is customer service: I ordered four burgers with my groupon. It took him 45 mins to bring them out. Ordered at 5:30pm, came out at 6:15pm. My game was at 6:15pm. I inhaled my burger in 30 seconds because I had a game. Instead of putting in my order when he was suppose to, he chose to eat his first before putting my orders in. Then forgot about it and came back out to ask me again. I told two different guys the same order three different times. I told him twice and once more to the guy in the back. The burgers were salty when they came out! I asked him about my order after 30 mins past. He told me it'll be ready when it's ready. That's really awesome customer service, guys....NOT!

They worked very hard to provide excellent online teaching experience. All the instructors went above and beyond to keep the classes fun and exciting for the little kids. For a while, they even provided weekly private lessons at no extra cost. Now they have in-person lessons with all the safety measures in place and have also continued to provide online lessons. The owners are very approachable and the entire team is amazing! Highly recommend!

After month 4 we wondered why they didn't move up a level, were reassured it was normal, so we waited more months, still no testing to even see if they were ready. Then the instructors kept changing and we realized they were teaching our kids the same stuff they learned on day one every time they changed instructors for the class. Turns out they "weren't keeping track" of what the kids knew and after 10 months and $3,500, our kids still can't tread water on their own and were never tested to move up to level 2. They told us the kids "lacked confidence in the skills" when they've had 20 hours of swim time now and just weren't even taught the basics of basics here. They only let you unenroll via text that they ignore you on and then demand 30 days to unenroll you which is another $340. This place is a mess of mismanagement and poor safety. After 10 months my kids should know something.

We went in and she took the Saturday free class to see if she even like Tae Kwondo - she did and so we signed up. This studio is fantastic. The best thing about this studio is owner head instructor Tae Kwondo black belt Jonathan. The guy is incredible - especially with kids. He really makes taking Tae Kwondo something that is fun and something my daughter looks forward to when ever it's a day she has class. This studio is mainly focused on the competitive sport aspect of Tae Kwondo as opposed to self-defense which is fine. They seem to always place in the top at tournaments. The best thing about this studio is the instruction. It makes learning fun, at a pace that you're comfortable with and easy to understand. My daughter loves this class and when I told her we may move out of state soon and she asked if we can at least still come back to take classes here. This is a good find.

They demonstrate everything clearly and explain each skill thoroughly, citing real-world examples based on their own experience as divers and active members of the diving community. Rick is a wealth of knowledge (on diving, dive skills, dive gear, you name it!) And provided all of us with excellent instruction as well as feedback. Dawn offers useful, alternate explanations--in addition to one-on-one reinforcement for students who need more time or assistance in fully understanding and mastering a skill. They don't gloss over anything, and they spend as much time as the group needs in order for each student to feel comfortable, which I really appreciate. Having the two of them also allows individual students to have that valuable one-on-one time with Dawn while Rick continues his instruction, so students that need more time on a skill don't feel like they're holding up the group or feel embarrassed like they are the center of attention when the rest of the group is ready to move on. I'm already thinking about what scuba diving courses I want to take next! I highly recommend the Scuba Shop for those who are looking for more than just getting certified and "getting it over with."
