All Barlean's products are induction sealed so no oxygenation can occur. Therefore, they are shelf stable until opened as long as the product doesn't sit in high heat for a prolonged period of time. You should, however, refrigerate our liquid supplements after opening. This store is well laid out and well stocked for the most part. Would like to see more organic nuts, flours and bars. Cereal is overpriced compared to the stores listed below. Vitamins are more expensive than other health/vitamin stores...but you have to drive to Abilene for Natural Grocers or Drug Emporium. Considering the convenience of this store...it's a wash except for not having as much variety.

I'm sure one reason they've been around that long is because of the great food a great service. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I've stopped in several times when passing thru Marble Falls and have never been disappointed. They have everything you can think of-- alternative organic vegan health related; even crystals, books--you name it. Also, they have a kitchen that serves up fresh health food daily--what must be the best tasting health food I think I've ever had. This place feels like home. Almost makes me wish I lived in Mineral Wells. Everything is Gluten Free and Dairy Free--even the sweeties. So, if you have any food, allergies or sensitivities, this is the place. They also offer all kinds of health and healing modalities and therapies in the back. I'm usually just passing thru whenever I stop by, so haven't checked out their other services yet, but they do have an online sight where you can find more info. The frozen entree dishes are my fav. Prices are reasonable for this type of fare--except certain supplements I found in the apothecary, I thought are a bit overpriced, IMO. But on the upside--if there's something you need they probably have it. Regular parking is usually no problem with plenty of spaces out front just off Highway 281. If, however, you're like me, pulling a travel trailer or driving a big rig, then the best option is to park on Northwood Drive where there's plenty of free street curb parking available and then take a short walk to the store. I intentionally stood there for 5 minutes waiting for him to assist me and he did not. Again, was too worried about whatever was on tv. I eventually asked him "what's a good brand?" and he responded with "all the BCAAs are to the right. Right there in front of you". I said "I know that but what is a good brand?" And he replied "oh they're all basically the same". He wasn't even listening to my question, was too worried about what was on TV. I ended up selecting a brand on my own without his help because he didn't provide any expertise. He stood behind the counter the entire time. Terrible customer service.
