These people know grass. Called them not really knowing what to do as I had never ordered sod before and they walked me through the easy process, price was very reasonable, they were soooo polite and friendly. On the delivery (I feel bad I don't remember his name) arrived exactly on time. They give u a 2 hr window and he was right in the middle, polite and informative as can be. Overall a great experience and the lawn looks fantastic! Now 2 full years later and I am thrilled at how the law looks! I've only fertilized a couple times and I'm good about keeping up the irrigation, it looks as good as the day after I installed it

So happy I chose Grass Farm Inc to purchase my sod from. Forget about using Home Depot, if you want fresh grass for a great price delivered to your driveway Grass Farm is the way to go. Kathleen was super helpful answering all my questions and getting me a quote. The sod was delivered by Javier on a Saturday morning. Javier was awesome giving my husband and I who never installed sod some helpful tips and advice. If you are reading this trying to figure out where to buy your new grass from you should seriously look no further! Look at how green my grass is... My dog approves too.

Three weeks after laying SOD. This is my first time cutting, we are really happy with how it has grown in!

Newly installed sod from Grass Farm

After looking at sod from our local home improvement stores and a couple of nurserys, we decided to take a little short drive down to Morgan Hill to visit Grass Farm. Their selections and quality of sod were much better than what we had previously looked at. They showed us their samples, and answered all the questions I had. I was given some printed literature with everything I needed to know right after it is installed. Armed with everything I needed to know, I asked my landscaper to use the 90% Tall Fescue / 10% Kentucky Bluegrass blend purchased from Grass Farm for my installation. It is nice to be able to purchase high quality sod from a local close by family owned grower. We couldn't be happier with choosing sod from the Grass Farm, and I'm happy to recommend them to anyone who asks.

This is after about 2 weeks of watering and staying off it.

Fresh beautiful grass delivered to your house the day its cut....what else can you ask for. My lawn was perfect until my dog started browning it :( I should have kept that barrier up :) You can't beat the prices either. I like that I can pickup rolls of grass in person if I need it too.

    Brand new lawn!

I spoke with a friend about our experiences at Johnson's, and we both agreed, it feels like walking into an old western saloon where everyone knows "you ain't from around these parts!" I was looking to buy a magnolia, but wanted to know what the differences were, which is better for our environment, so I approached an employee who tried to avoid eye contact with me until he could do it no longer. He started stammering when I asked if he knew anything about the trees I had considered contenders. He fumbled with his walky-talky to try to find someone else to help me, but spotted (who I found out later was the manager) watering plants in the vicinity. He asked her if she could help and she replied rudely with "WHAT?" as she clearly saw me (the customer) asking a question. He stammered nervously and she followed up with "What do you want?" I jumped in and asked my questions about which is best and she said, "They're all pretty much the same." I asked if any were better for our climate/environment and she said with an attitude, "We don't sell anything that doesn't grow around here." She then curtly turned away and went on with watering the plants. I did not feel copacetic with her "customer service," so I bought my tree and decided not to go back. I would rather go to an establishment with less selection, but better service. Also, the prices are on the higher side for some things, but reasonable for others, it just depends on what it is. Either way, Home Depot works for me from now on, and if they don't have what I want, I'll research somewhere other than Johnson's. It's a shame, too, because the place is like walking through a botanical garden, only the vibe given by the staff is that "it ain't big enough for the both of us!"

Beautiful quality, incredibly healthy, already nearly taller than the established shrubs, and very reasonably priced at $129. They helped load it, answered questions, and made the whole process easy. All I have left to do is widen the hole I already dug. You can see a dip in the existing row from an earlier Photinia replacement several years ago from Costco. Love Costco but sometimes you don't want to wait. Thanks Chris!

The tree removal work covered 2 days which was more than enough time to cover any issues that may have come up but didn't. Communication was efficient and expedient. If clarity was needed by phone Alexis was always available during business hours when at the store. My 4 trees removal was quoted to take 2 whole days but was completed early. Alexis and his work crew were fantastic all the way through. They arrived as scheduled and earlier than on time each day. The crew showed exceptional teamwork and were very easy to communicate with. They were respectful of the property and left the yard looking better in the areas they worked than when they first started. I will definitely seek out Alexis and his work crew again when I have future tree care and landscaping needs.
