The BEST find of our recent trip to Lisbon, hands-down.
Sometimes you wanna go...where there's a painting of a Pom named Calypso inside the door, you get to enjoy an occasional impromptu accordion jam session, and you feel like a long-time friend after 1 night!
Found this place on Google just looking for wine near our apartment and it was so much fun we visited 3 times on a 4-night stay.
Oscar and Tonya and team not only serve up FANTASTIC food and wine, but they treat you like family and have created such a fun, warm, engaging place to dine that I will truly remember this place for years to come. Food is thoughtful and high-quality but affordable, and truly some of the most tasty and satisfying we enjoyed on a trip full of wonderful eats.
They take reservations, and I recommend one, as this place is fairly small and fills up fast. Enjoy the bolinhas (my fav), a sumptuous charcuterie board, a crisp rose, and some lava cake, and let the sounds of tambourine take you away...
Seriously, please go here. And take me with you! read more
