If this were an insurance claim vs. private party settlement issue, TGCCC would be and IS my first collision shop to fix my body wrecked car. They made the whole process easy. I didn't need to contact USAA and they even took care of my rental. Also, I was ready to pay the extra money to have original parts for the repair but after quoting me an extra $150 or so they figured out a way not to have to charge me that at all. The only weird thing that happened was that my battery died, apparently because of the cold weather and not being started everyday. They gave a quote of $280 to replace and install. When I baulked at the price I told him I would just get a battery from Walmart. They agreed to let me do that and even installed it for me.

It's important for this business to practice integrity and honesty. My service consisted of a basic…read moreoil change and tire rotation. Upon receiving my keys and with the shop manager explaining the oil change and tire rotation was serviced on my Denali truck- I personally went to inspect and identified that the tires I marked had not been rotated. I went back to the office to inform the shop manager and I've even played it off as if I had no clue about the maintenance requirements for my truck just to test how he'd respond. Sure enough- to save face- he informed me that Mid Missouri Motor (MMM) service department measures the tire tread and had determined my tires didn't need rotating. How unprofessional that I pay for a service that I didn't receive and to suggest that was appropriate. Additionally, the technician failed to place a paper floor mat to protect the Denali carpet. Vehicle was returned with caked on mud left on my carpet. I will be posting a review of MMM on Yelp, Google and the official GM Twitter account to inform everyone to stay away from MMM service department and how they mistreat service members actively serving in the Army.

When I got there the next morning the lady at the desk had no copy of the estimate that was given to me over the phone the day before, nor did she know the price and what kind of tire I had ordered. Luckily, the tires had been delivered. After the job was done I pulled onto the street and heard the sound of something dragging underneath the truck. I did a u turn and pulled back into the parking lot and told them about the problem, which was a fiberous black covering under the engine which had not been fastened back down. (Okay....honest mistake....no problem) I decided to go to the car wash following this appointment, and as I was washing the truck I noticed a square, metal plate that had been thrown into my bed. (Pictured) At this point I was in a different town that luckily had a Ford dealer. I was told the clips to hold this plate under the engine were missing or broken. So long story short, Ford had to order some new clips. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this place of business, nor would I recommend anyone else taking their vehicles to this establishment. The people at the Ford dealer were wonderful....I should have gone there, instead!

It was late at night and all repair shops had already closed. I had to call a tow truck and the driver recommended I have him take my car to Don's so that is what I did. I thought I may be stranded there for a day or two while getting the problem sorted out but thanks to Don, I was wrong. I called Don first thing next morning and told him I really needed to be back on the road as soon as possible so he got right on it. He called around to find the alternator, then gave me a ring back to give me the price quote. It was much lower than I expected and he said he could have it finished in a couple hours. Sure enough, less than 2 hours later he gives me a call to let me know it is finished and that he will come pick me up at the motel so we can get back to his shop and settle up. When we got back to the shop I mentioned to him that the brake light on my dash had been on for a few days as well so he popped the hood, added some brake fluid and voila! The light went away. To keep a long story (fairly) short, Don's Valley Repair is top notch! If I lived in that area, I would not hesitate to take my vehicles there for any service I needed. Don himself is a class act and I wish him well there in Lebanon. Save yourself the headache and TAKE YOUR CAR TO DON!!!
