Their cat and dog are so cute and we played with them for a long time. The maple syrup icecream is SO GOOD, I remember my friends eyes entirely lit up when taking the first spoonful. The opal plums were some of the most delicious I have ever had, and the peaches did not disappoint either. The market also sells wild blueberries at about $9 a pint and I would say this is worth a try if you are visiting the region for the first time! One thing to note is that the fruit tastes so good because it is sold rather ripe, and so I would not really recommend buying more than what you can eat in 3-4 days! Aside from the fruit, the market carries your typical variety of jams, preserves, and baked goods. We tried the Toblerone shortbread cookies and they were absolutely delicious and addictive!

Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Saturday all year round (except for Vendor Vacation which is always the Saturday between Christmas and the New Year). Pro Tip: Parking is free on Saturdays during market hours in metered and pay machine parking lots closest to the Library in Downtown Orillia. Here you find Local produce, food and handicraft from vendors in the area. There are honey, maple syrup, seasonal fresh produce and even doggie treats!
