Ordered a lapidary machine Jan 30 2017... it's November 10th 2017 and it's still not here. Called several times to address this over the course of months, promised over and over.. it's shipping immediately. And still nothing. Sent them a NASTY email, hoping maybe they will make it right but I doubt it considering Denis K's review in April 2016! He was dead on, we are just glad they didn't charge us yet. YET.. I could see that still happening and nothing come... ugh. How is a company with such terrible customer service like this still functioning!? Don't waste your time, go to a competitor. I ordered a 3000 grit diamond lap. Had no problems with ordering or shipping. When I got my lap it looked fine but as soon as I started using it I knew I had a problem. I took it to a machinist friend of mine. He checked it out and told me it was out of true. Called Graves and explained it to them. They said there was nothing they could do and I must have stored the lap wrong. I told them I have been faceting for over 40 years and I never had a problem like this. I was hung up on. Worst customer service ever. Ordered a lapidary machine from them 51 days ago, my credit card has been charged, but they have never shipped the product. Every time I manage to get them on the phone (which is about one out of every three times I call) they promise me that my item is being shipped "today or tomorrow". Obviously these are lies, since I do not yet have the item I paid over $1000 for. Do not do business with this company. You have been warned. read more

I bought and paid for several belts, faceting rough and diamond grit. The belts arrived but the rough and grit were "backordered". Waited, waited, waited, waited. Tried calling, emailing, etc., and everything the other reviewers said were true. I used to deal with Graves years ago and never had a problem. Don't know that is going on with them now but unless you want a LOT of frustration do not deal with them. I had to fulfil and order and bought the items from somewhere else - ordered and got within a week and a half. Life goes on but I still have not herd from them and they still have my money.
