We were told multiple times that we would be contacted with an estimate for the service, and every time we contacted, we were told that they were "in the field" and would call back, but never did. This went on for over a week. My wife is a disabled Army veteran. I have severe chronic back issues, and I'm currently awaiting an appointment with a specialist to determine if I have cancer. ServiceMaster completely turned their backs on us in a time of need and refused to even communicate with us. It was another blow that was absolutely devastating following the massive loss we experienced from the flood. Needless to say, we eventually gave up on the company altogether. The cleanup still continues. I will NEVER recommend their service to anyone.

Very sad day...... We have used this company before in our home, this was during covid so anyone workIng was a good deal, and they did good work. When we purchased the home in 24i, I called all contractors to come and bid for ALL the work we need done so we could put a buget together and get the work started in 25. This contractor sent the person out and the bid was a first run and my husband had not arrived to see the home and figure out what he wanted to add or drop, which was done March of 2025.. My husband who is a GC for industrial buildings called me and said the electrical bid, ( the second one, he was present for) did nott have things we asked for! So I called and explained that we were ready and upon inspection of the scope of work, there was several major things NOT s listed. And if we starred the work the items not included would be a HUGE CHANGE ORERD! This person who came out twice was told both times what we wanted.... And he still could not get it right ...like he listed one plug added to each room when I need four plugs.... attic lights to be installed (per my husband) was not listed and MANY other things. ***And if you know anything about electical you would know these missing items leads to huge costly change orders!!! Please note that when this person was in my home I front of my husband said a very condescending remark to me, which I was taken back. *My husband states the comment as condescending! Also note this contractor knew we wanted to start work this Aug and to work along side the HVAC company. This company stated the bids were incorrect and they could send him out again......REALLY! I HAD TO CALL ANOTHER ELECTORAL COMPANY TO BID THIS JOB! The new contractor came and took the panels off explained how and why I could do what I wanted and what the best course of action. Something this company did NOT do!!! He put together a complete bid with line items coast and scope of work ....which this company would NOT DO, even when asked! And I got my bid back in four days which came in at the ball park price of this companies incomplete bid. I called this company's and talked to Leslile and explained this whole mess.... And I explained to her that her company was always great and was maybe this person and please send someone else out to bid this correctly. Well she said this person has been withh them for 20 years and she hopes us the best...oh and I did not get his sense of humor...Humm this guy insulted the owners wife I front of him.... WOW!!! They arrived on time with 7 men, they were able to do our garage and home in just 1 day, we love the roof we picked out, it's very pretty. We had to have several more pieces of wood replaced as there was more damage to the roof then we thought, we also had all 3 skylights removed, not too bad in the house that a little vacuum couldn't take care of. I wasn't at home, but my husband was, I felt it was my responsibility to make sure if anything came thru the holes from the skylights it was my responsibility to cover up anything or lay a sheet down. They didn't leave a mess, all of the men were polite and efficient. We would definitely call them again if we ever need any roofing needs.

Moss remained on portions of the roof, a shingle was knocked loose, the roof treatment was insufficient, and the gutters were not cleaned as agreed. What disappointed me most was that there was no quality review or follow-up by management to confirm the work had been completed properly or to obtain my approval before considering the project finished. A-1 offered to return and redo the work. However, when a service falls this far short of the agreed scope, I believe either a different crew should be assigned or a refund should be offered. I was no longer comfortable having A-1 continue with the project. I hired another company to complete the same scope of work. They performed the work thoroughly and professionally. After seeing the condition of my roof, they commented that A-1 should not have charged me for work that was not completed. If you choose to hire A-1, I recommend requesting a thorough quality inspection at the conclusion of the job and providing final approval only after verifying that all work in the proposal has been completed. I also recommend questioning the requirement for a 50% down payment, as the company appears to have minimal upfront material costs for this type of service.
