No stress. Exactly what I needed. That alone impressed me. A little later, I returned with a different issue -- my gold chain had split at the clasp (crab/clamper). The staff took it to the jeweler in the back, and within five minutes came back and said: "Fixed. No charge." They simply adjusted the clasp back into place and recommended a future repair only if it started to fray. They absolutely could have charged me -- but they didn't. That says a lot. When I went back through my videos from the day he proposed, you can clearly see the crack. I took it in for repair immediately and they refused to stand behind their work. I explained it had just been sitting in a safe before I got it and that I had proof it was there when he proposed. They still charged me $75 for the repair saying "we would've never let it leave the store that way. It must've gotten smashed in the door of the safe" despite there being no damage consistent with it being crushed or banged on anything. I've lost 2 stones and 2 more cracked. The prongs for the last stone lost were actually broken off completely. Ultimately we ended up having the ring remade by another jeweler so we could improve the quality and avoid dealing with Bass all together.
