Out back, the beer garden was in full glory--sun filtering through the trees, tables packed with happy people, and a blues-rock-country band tearing it up like they were in Nashville. The vibe? Think summer camp for grownups with craft beer and fewer rules. The soundtrack? Slide guitar, twangy vocals, and the occasional couple dancing in front of the stage. The drinks? Cold and local. The staff? Friendly! We came for a quick pint, stayed for the show, and left with significantly more joy than expected. Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I dance in front of strangers while holding a burger in one hand and a beer in the other? Um, no. But Shady's, you had me at Beer Garden.
