The GRE center is an online center that allows you to sign up for the graduate record examination.
What they don't tell you is that GRE stands for "Guaranteed to Rob Everyone." Their reschedling policies state that there is a $50 fee for changing test dates. What other services charge you to reschedule appointments? Privitized "education" centers is the correct answer but I would also accept Capitalist pig organizations.
The cancelation policy is vague and states that partial refund is given if you cancel your test no later than 3 days prior to the test date. If you cancel within those three days you will forfeit the $160 dollars completely.
What they don't tell you is that if you have to cancel the appointment you will only reieve $80 back and the other $80 is kept by them for "registration fees."
You will also not recieve any help or understanding from their management department. Not only were they rude but ignorant to the fact that their cancelation policy is vague and filled with misleading legal mumbojumbo.
For a privately owned center who deals with the college age population they are sneaky, not forthright and definitely operating a racket. If you choose to take the GRE for school requirements do so at your own financial risk. And also ask yourself if educational services for proffit is the type of education system we want in this country. read more
