The Prissie had a terrible attitude. I told her what I thought was the correct terms of what I wanted. Not sure if she just doesn't know or doesn't care. She made out like the ones who told me the term was wrong. Funny thing is the other stylist got it right but she didn't. I guess she thinks she knows it all and everyone else is wrong. Then when I told her about what more I wanted her to do she got an attitude and said you didn't tell me that! It wasn't a big deal to correct. She decided instead of doing what I asked she thought it best to mouthed off about it. I stopped her and said I'll go somewhere else. Too sad she couldn't keep her big mouth shut and just do what I asked her. Her loss I would have tipped her well but not with that mouth. I won't be going back there as long as she's there. I took my 13 year old daughter there to get her cut evened out. Me and my daughter walked to the stylist chair and I started telling her that she just needed her hair evened out. They lady didn't respond to me but asked my daughter how she was. I knew she heard me. So I went and sat in the chair in the next station because the sink there was out of order. I told the stylist that I just there to be my daughter emotional support. I didn't want her to feel like I was hovering. Still said nothing to me. She cut her hair and left some pieces long so I pointed it out to her. This lady got mad and still only speaking to daughter tells her to look at the back. Then she says to my daughter "I wasn't finished with front", which is where the long pieces were. I could tell she thought she was done because she had removed her cape and the white paper from around her neck. Which is why I mentioned the pieces. This lady goes on the start pulling my daughter hair a bit aggressively. Like she was trying to get more hair from behind her ear. There was no more hair behind her ear that needed trimming. The pieces she missed where from the first time she had pulled her hair from behind her ear. She just didn't notice she had missed them. Anyways horrible customer service!!! My daughter said she wish she would have got the girl with the blonde hair. She was nice and complimented her shoes. The blonde lady was nice to all her customers. Not to mention when walked outside she said the lady was pulling her hair after I told her she missed some pieces. My daughter said she also she didn't like how rude the lady was to me and didn't speak to me once. Also she had missed pieces in the back and I had to cut them when we got home. I was in a pinch and need someone because our normal stylist wasn't available. I will never return there. read more

my husband went today to get a haircut and the lady was nice and the wait was not long at all but the haircut was just horrible. it's uneven on both sides and one side of his head is completely uneven with the other it looks ridiculous. she also missed a spot at the front of his head so now he just has long stands of hair he has to push over to the side to make look right. we tipped the lady 10$ for her effort but we will not be going back. read more

I will never go to Great Clips again after my experience I had about a month ago and I didn't go there a long time. I asked to have you know my beard and my mustache to be trimmed and the guy out there he shaved all my hair off my head and no other woman has ever touched. Once again, it's the Great Clips app to the rescue. I launched it to find a nearby salon with no wait and when I arrived about 15 minutes later, I skipped ahead of three other people who were already waiting. So sorry! Not. Jennifer did a great job cutting my hair, after reviewing the notes in the system. I have pretty simple needs for my hair and it's hard to do it wrong. She not only followed the instructions, she kept up a great conversation while doing so and even suggested the nearby Redbone Alley for dinner. read more

Today I took my 6 year old son who is on the Autism Spectrum to get his hair cut at great clips like always. Well we were met by a rude employee who informed me that if he couldn't wear a mask then he could not get his hair cut. He has severe sensory issues that makes mask wearing almost impossible, and if we were to somehow get a mask on him he'd probably have a melt down and the employee more than likely would have not been able to cut his hair. I understand making adults and neurotypical children wear masks. BUT.....I've taken my son numerous times to Great Clips since the pandemic started and have never had a problem once I explain he's Autistic and that's why he can't wear a mask. But today, the employee was rude, didn't show an ounce of compassion, and showed no empathy toward my child's condition. I am so disgusted at the total disregard this employee showed for my child's disability. Great Clips will not get a penny of my family's money ever again. Great Clips needs a crash course in customer service etiquette and a class on how to treat customers with disabilities. read more

A family member was in a bind, so we did an internet search for salons open on Sundays. To our surprise Great Clips in the Piggly Wiggly shopping Center was open from 11 AM to 5 PM. After brunch we drove over and what a great surprise. Let me tell you, we were nit the only customers. The hairdresser next in line listened to us as to how we wanted the cut and style. And she listened and made some suggestions for us to consider and approve. And here was the biggest shock. There standard prices are more than affordable. Seriously, if you are looking for great service and want some money in your pocket try this location. By the way, more men were stopping by for haircuts than women this afternoon while we were there. read more

Save your money and yourself from shame of the worst haircut in the world. I just had my haircut there and it looks like crap! I have never had my hair cut like this. It is cut somewhere between boot camp and what you would get cut in prison. The way she went at it you think she was mowing a lawn! I'm embarrassed to go outside without a hat. I don't know how I'm supposed to work like this. To add insult to injury she said that she would make a note of how to cut my hair next time. I've been customer for years. They do pretty good job. I used to could pick a few regulars who knew my hair cut bc it was kind of complicated and now the policy is you can't. In other locations you can. If you have new hair dresser sets I get the point it's not fair to them but a lot of other people walk in the door with no preference and if they do a great job it wouldn't take no time before they too have regulars. I hate the new policy but for the price I have to just deal with it. The other issue I have is I walk out with different hair cut bc everyone does my style different and most of the time I have 2 people at the chair bc it's kind of hard to explain on the print out ticket what the customer wants exactly. Overall the people are very very friendly and very professional. my kids always get perfect cuts from there and always have. read more

I would not even give it a star. Two years ago I had a butcher cut my hair at this Great Clips so I stopped going. The salon I went to was ok but it's across town and always busy. I went back to Great Clips for convenience and found wonderful stylist. This time I was told it was policy that I couldn't request my stylist. I said I was willing to wait and they said no. I told them I wanted to speak to the manager. She came out and said she was the manager for over a year. I know not 2 months ago it was a man. She said that it was the policy and she can't change it. I said I'm sorry I won't be getting a haircut and won't be back. Since when does an establishment tell the customer what they are going to do and who is going to do it to them??? read more

I took my daughter here and they gave her a terrible haircut. When I confronted Bonnie. The so-called hairstylist she blamed the hair,and the child and the mother. She said it was not her fault that the hair was wavy and thick. She could not cut it straight and still blamed it on something else.
