Part one of a two part foundation project Recently we had…read moreour house foundation repaired by Groundworks out of Fairfield. One bedroom had sunk by almost 5 inches as that part of the house had been built on fill. In order to restore the house to it's proper level numerous foundation jacks and floor leveling screw jacks were required. In addition some landscaping bushes and pvc sprinkler pipes had to temporarily removed. Groundworks had informed me prior to starting work what would be required to successfully complete this project and had my full approval. The house is now level, the doors no longer swing on their own and the interior cracks between the walls and ceiling joints no longer exist. Prior to the crew leaving the yard was cleaned up and the pvc pipes replaced. Best of all Groundworks will come back annually to the next 5 years and make any necessary adjustments. The Groundworks crew that made this happen was Andrew, the site supervisor, Charlie and Allen. Their performance and daily communication was superior on all levels. This is part 2. The Groundworks Poly crew of Anthony & Brian were very fast and efficient in completing their part of the foundation repair contract which was to level our family room slab floor. Fast, yes, but Anthony did take the time to not only explain what they were going to do but also walked me through the process as they were working. I have no problem in recommending them & Groundworks to other home owners who need to have their foundation repaired.

Originally, last May, we wanted the side driveways and a concrete slab to put our Tuff Shed on in the backyard, but within a week, we knew Innovative Concrete Solutions would also do high quality work on the patio portion that we wanted stamped and colored, so we added that to the backyard project. The owner Ramon designed a color for me after I showed him pictures of the shade of terra cotta I was going for. I received so many compliments on the unique color of my patio concrete from friends, family and neighbors. He can work a color to your preference, he has colors ready or you can come up with your own like I did. My husband and I were super pleased with the entire look of the two sides and back yard! Four months later in Oct, we were ready to put a couple of concrete walkways in the front yard. Again, I had specific designs chosen for stamping and colors and Ramon delivered again on another unique design and color impression sample that satisfied the look I was going for. For the price he was charging me for the two walkways, it was indeed worth what I got in return. The work done was professional and high level. We were beyond happy with the vibe and look created. Fast forward almost two years later, it has gotten worse. I'm very disappointed as we were very nice and accommodating with them and even provided food and beverages while it was hot outside. We got a few different quotes and they were all within the same price range but with the good reviews this team had I thought it was the best choice. WRONG! They also said they can come back and re pour an also to fix a couple other things and we followed up twice and they never showed up. I feel like we were robbed and have decided to consider seeking legal advice on how to go about this. I'll update with more pictures soon. Don't give them your business! I'll be updating with new pictures to see how bad it is.
