Tenant complained about the damage to all the 9 windows frames, mess and broken glass left by the Dads Glass First Class owner Mike. The necessity to remove the window frames was not communicated either. Work was to remove and replace cracked window panes with clear glass. Upon onsite investigation, found timber frames ripped off and then roughly nailed back. Process caused paint damage, split timber, missed nail holes or nails not hammered in properly. Tenant also stated a normal steel hammer and not a rubber mallet used to bash the timber back into position. Tenants were distressed that bedroom 3's carpet/bed linen had mess and glass fragments. The linen had to be replaced and mattress/bedroom carpet repeatively vacuumed to ensure their safety. Broken glass, glass fragments left at each and every window including the front entry and down all the front patio/stairwell. Cleaning was ordered by tenants as they could not see why, when they pay rent it was there job to clean up after a paid tradesman for free. They did not wantto be cut by the broken glass either, nor damage the vacuum by doing so. We would not recommend Dads Glass First Class. Granted the work was cheap, but the cleaning, linen replacement, repairs and repaint work to the window frames will cost more. Certainly not first class workmanship. EMAIL RESPONSE BY OWNER MIKE.
