Fast forward to 2020, these units have started to fail, and we are now learning from IES that these units cannot be repaired. The manufacturer have discontinued these units and a replacement is not available. BTW they charged us to tell us this news!! So IES assured me that they would find a replacement. After 8 weeks of searching, specifying, quoting, and agreeing on pricing, IES now informs me that they have decided not to proceed with this order because owner "Rick" wants nothing to do with our building, and with these units. We have been abandoned!!!! So salesperson "Helene" recommended another Contractor, which was nice! After new contractor review and their discussion with manufacturer, they have concluded that the replacement units specified again by IES will not fit the purpose intended. Someone at IES dropped the overall ball on specifying these units. Not only did you IES waste my time, but they can't even specify the correct replacement units for an original installation specified and installed by IES. This is probably the real reason for the abandonment!! Rest assured that I will do my part to ensure IES incompetence is shared publicly on social media, contractor reviews, and common discussions.

I texted and emailed 20 roofing companies because my roof was left exposed and unfinished by Monty Marsaw from M&M Roofing. Monty did not show on Friday May 3, 2019 to finish the job. When I called Monty on Friday afternoon to ask why he was not working on my roof, he said he could not finish the job because "he felt overwhelmed". It did not seem to bother Monty that he ripped off my shingles, leaving the roof exposed and unfinished. The guy just left the job half done and never showed up again. Like hello, are the lights on or what is up buddy? Talk about being left in a bind. Rain could destroy my entire home! The guy has no morals, no care and zero class. Avoid that guy please. This is a fair and honest warning. Thankfully, Nathan Badour from Undercutters Roofing responded to my email and showed up with a roofer at 9 AM as promised. By the way, Nathan is the only roofer to show up. All the other companies I emailed and texted ignored my call or just did not show. Bear in mind this was and is an emergency call. And the price was good it was my lowest estimate at first for the 35 year warranty but I ended up going with 50 year warranty which was still under the highest estimate I had.
