I did not intend to update my review today; but I just feel the need to because they deserve it! I got home and opened the food casually organizing and took a bite of the hummus and wow!!!!!! Absolutely delicious! Authentic Hummus and if you know hummus they westernize it in the grocery stores/restaurants alot of places do and it is not the same! However Greek Chicken does not! Delicious fresh and incredible. So I grabbed my phone before I inhaled all of it and snapped a quick pic. The meat smells/looks incredible I got the number 11 which is basically a meal for two meat/bread and a large salad and I additionally ordered hummus and pita my total was 38.00 which in todays economy is a steal for fresh quality food!! Great spot for flavorful, wonderfully seasoned chicken that is extremely juicy. The zucchini, although fried was very tasty as was the mixed green salad. Against all odds I'm a burger guy 9/10 times. The fact that this is in the same strip mall as In n Out makes going to Greek Chicken a near impossibility for someone like me. But on this day, I was in the area and I wanted to try something different. After a quick survey of raving reviews I decided to try them out. Conclusion? Chicken sandwich was off the hook. Fresh, healthy, perfectly constructed sandwich. If I get a chicken sandwich which is rare, I'm getting a fried chicken sando. But this one is not fried it's grilled. And I didn't feel like I was missing anything, was completely satisfied. Only issue I had is I should have ordered 2. Fresh lettuce tomatoes and red onion. I've slept on this place for quite some time. It sits in a parking lot that is shared with several other eateries right off Rainbow & Sunset. When I originally came to the area, I had plans to eat elsewhere. Both options I was leaning towards, both were closed :( By process of elimination, Greek Chicken won. They offer dine in or drive thru. The drive thru entrance is located on the complete opposite side of the restaurant. Being that it was my first time eating/ordering here, the person taking the order helped me to drink it all in to have a better understanding of offerings. After ordering you drive on the backside of the other buildings to get to the restaurant area is to pay. It was quick and easy. It was hot and fresh. Large portion of chicken in the skewers but the pita was chewy although it was warm. I added a side of hummus which was not very good. I can tell they grill the skewers to order since it took about 15 minutes in the drive thru, so if you're in a rush this isn't the spot. Service was with a smile though so kudos for that. I have dined in once as I usually take my food to go, but the establishment is always neat and clean. The Food: Yum, yum, YUM! I have had the Greek salad with grilled chicken (includes pita bread) and the 1/4 chicken, salad, and side (French fries) combo (included pita bread). My boyfriend always gets the 1/2 chicken dinner (chicken, two sides, garlic bread). Everything is always really good and they give you a lot of food. We both typically have left overs. Now I did take a star off because I LOVE tzatziki sauce and their's in, my opinion was just ok, but every thing else... chef's kiss! The Customer Service: the customer service is pretty good, but there is an older man, maybe the owner, that puts the cherry on top. The skin was crispy and generously seasoned. Seasoned so well that the meat of the chicken was also full of that same flavor but meatier and juicer. I mean, words do not describe the way this chicken made me feel. After my first bite my eyes widened, I became silent, and I enjoyed every moment of the piece that I had. (A drumstick) I'm almost confident I heard Barry White start to play in the background. This chicken is so good it is seared into my memory as one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth. It was fairly quick for a rotisserie chicken place. I got combo #2. Smelled amazing. And we'll seasoned. I was confused by the garlic bread. It's more liked a grilled cheese sandwich vs garlic bread.
