1/4 wedge salad, it was plenty and delicious!

11/28/25: Excellent Service, food was delicious! I ordered the 1/4 wedge salad, it was good size. Shared tri tip dip, yum. Got steak fries and it was good, it was like a 1/2 baked potato cut into 3 slices and then baked, very good.

This was a good find on our way back from a summit hike in Lassen. The food was quick and well made. Steaks were all cooked to the temps that we requested and service was spot on! The restaurant itself was very clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend this as a stop after a day on the trail.

Stopped in for dinner during our one night in Red Bluff as we travel through on a national parks trip. It's a cool spot with wood paneling and whiskey decor and the entire experience was top notch. The is a classic old school steakhouse. Portions are large, staff were friendly, and food service was prompt and delicious. I had been craving a Cobb Salad and the GB Steak Cobb delivered. My husband could not be happier with his Prime Rib dinner. The Steamer Clams, Italian Wedding Soup Wedge Salad and Baked Peach were also delicious. A really great stop and delicious meal on our road trip!

Visited July 9 2026. See my receipt as always as proof!…read more I have been wanting to go here as one of 2 places ( The Hive) that My girlfriend recommended. First time in Orland. Its a casual yet classy place for lunch and dinner. They have a shaded patio in front as well ( dog friendly). I love smaller towns! Relatively no traffic or crime! My boyfriend and I ordered off the lunch specials menu. He ordered the smash burger and chose macaroni salad. I ordered the grilled shrimp on a skewer with brown rice and spicy coleslaw. We always try each other's food! The smash burger was juicy and the macaroni salad was good! My shrimp had a nice grill on it and the coleslaw was delicious. The brown rice was alittle dry for my taste buds. It has a full bar with tvs to watch sports. There is quieter seating on the other side of the bar area. Overall it was a good experience! Great menu with plenty of speciality cocktails along with some craft beers! Staff is professional!

Service was great and everyone was friendly, checked on us plenty of times. For the food, I'd definitely recommend the Cyclone Chicken and the fried avocado appetizer, those were amazing. What a gem in downtown Red Bluff!…read more Came here for the first (and certainly not last) time with a colleague for a late lunch. It was pretty quiet so we got our pick of seating in the open dining room with the bar running down the left side. A booth? Yes, please! We had friendly, fast service and delicious food. Can we just talk about the dill pickle soup for a minute ~ or seven?! I honestly wanted to order a vat to go. I almost did. Zupa Ogórkowa FTW! So unique and a must order. Very much enjoyed the fried okra and opted for two sauces: lemon garlic aioli and creamy horseradish. Crunchy, served piping hot and majorly munchable. What's not to like? I liked that we could get the cabbage rolls with both tasty sauces, although they weren't my favorite dish during our visit. Certainly a generous portion, though. My lunchmate had been here once before and raved about the Fall Farro salad, but alas, they didn't have it the day we came in. We opted for the Fall Goddess salad and it was delightful. I can't deny being disappointed that they weren't serving pierogis the day we visited, since they only serve them on Saturdays. Our server told us they spend most of the week making ~400 pierogis and they always sell out of them on Saturdays, the only day they're served. (Note to self: return on a Saturday, early in the day if possible!) Look forward to having an excuse to return to Red Bluff for more of that pickle soup and some pierogis!

If you're going for a romantic night out with your squeeze, or celebrating something special, ask to sit in the "wine room". It's a bit quieter and has the perfect ambiance for a that special romantic evening. Fair warning: it's not cheap. But if you're looking for just the right place in the Chico area for a special, intimate evening - this is the place. My wife and I will definitely go back.

This was not the dining experience we were expecting, to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary…read more Our server was not unkind but also not friendly at all, and seemed easily annoyed. We both ordered the twin tails, which have gone up in price and down in quality, since our last visit. The lobster was undercooked, chewy with an odd purple color and unappetizing texture. I asked for mine to be cooked more, my husband did not, as he does not send food back. When it was brought back, it was still not cooked all the way and still had a translucent look on one side. It remained chewy and unappetizing, rather than the delicious and savory lobster we have enjoyed in the past. The mashed potatoes, which used to be to die for, were just ok and the portion size has shrunk. The arugula dish on the plate was merely ok as well. It used to be so tasty that I tried to recreate it at home, this was just a bit of salty and bitter greens. The bread was not served until after the meal arrived and they were out of the yummy brown bread. This meal seemed hastily thrown together, rather than thoughtfully prepared, as it as been in the past. It was very disappointing. We did enjoy the music on the patio, which added ambience to the outdoor dining experience. The "anniversary menu" they gave us was a nice touch.
