I can't tell you how many other companies just sent over a brochure with their pricing with no follow-up. In speaking with Josh, he was very consultative, and also just a very pleasant person to talk with. After comparing a few other photographers, we landed on Storytellers because of their beautiful editing style, and we knew we would be in good hands with experienced professionals. We worked with Anel for our engagement photoshoot, and she was a complete gem. My husband and I are not picture people, and she was able to get us comfortable in front of the camera. Those pictures turned out beautifully. For the wedding, we worked with Anel and Andrew for photography, and Marilyn for videography, and I cannot stress how amazing it was to work with all of them. I was a bundle of nerves the day of my wedding, and not once did I have to worry about anything not being captured. If anything, being around them helped ease our nerves a bit, because they were all so nice to be around. We went with a full nine hour package, and by the end of the day, it felt like we all had gone through a journey together. Weddings are wild. The photos turned out beautifully, and we cried the first time we watched our video. We got to relive all of the beautiful details again (some that we didn't even get to see) without the stress that came with the big day. Hollywood Photo came up for passport photos so I put in an inquiry on the website. I received a response that yes they did passport photos and to call. I have to admit I was annoyed at having to call but seconds into my call on the phone with Tolga I had a smile on my face. He's just a super pleasant guy! It was easy to schedule an appointment, and the studio is easy to find, just off the 51. There's parking literally in front of the door too! Tolga is just as nice in person and you can tell he really loves his job! I asked him some questions about what he loves about photography and his face was so animated. I love seeing people love what they do! We took a new photo quickly and I gave my approval. Such a better photo than at the drugstore! Better lighting, better camera, and someone who actually knows what they are doing and cares makes a huge difference. Tolga let me know that the digital photo acceptance for passports has been tricky and to let him know if I had an issue. When I tried to submit the next day, I did have an issue and sent him an email. He replied right away with a new image file and that worked great. As for posting my photos, when you asked about sneak peeks I said clothed and appropriate for Facebook. You are right, the first was. And my statement stands. The next ones I was very uncomfortable with but did not say anything because I did not have my photos and they were in fact late. Once I received my photos I asked you to take them all down and you did. I do appreciate that! I did receive my photos (late). I stated that in my original review. But I did not receive my calendar - which was suppose to be my actual gift. Even after many many attempts to get in contact with you and even offering to pick it up. I completely understand things happy. People make mistakes - we are all human. But to cut off contact with your customers when you are behind is unprofessional and cruel. Your work is amazing - truly amazing and if this rating was regarding your work or even you... It would be 5 stars. I loved working with you! We had just had our twins, they were our first children so we had no idea what to expect. We walked is to a super relaxing environment in her studio. Everything was pre-planned and set up. The amount of care she took to make sure our kids were comfortable and relaxed was very comforting. The end result far exceeded anything that I would ever expected. My husband and I had our 10 YEAR wedding renewal on June 24th, and Jenna was there to capture it…read moreall. However I had planned a surprise renewal ceremony on the beach in Huntington Beach, California. My husband had no idea! Jenna was so great to work with! A few months prior to the ceremony, she came with me to the site to scout out the spot where she would hide out and take those photographs of my husband's shocked face. Jenna is amazing to work with! Even though she is a newborn/family photographer, she understands the connection between husband and wife. When the day came, she hid behind the cars, and when we walked down the stairs to meet our officiant, I could not see her at all! She hid well! Then she popped out, and started taking photos of us, and my husband's face lit up in joy. He was so surprised when he saw the officant waiting with us, and then once he saw Jenna, he was beyond shocked. (fist pump to Jenna, like we did it!!). During dinner, I also had been texting Jenna as we were running late, and she was so good at communicating with me. She was prepared for bright sun light, or low light. :) During our ceremony, Jenna was capturing each and every moment, and in a way that I did not even know she was there. So we enjoyed our renewal without the clicking of the camera or flash. I was so happy I had Jenna there to take photographs of such a special moment in our lives. 10 years of marriage captured that day! :) I highly recommend Jenna, as she is professional, kind, understanding, and easy going.
