It was very busy, so we were able to just put our name on the list and they called our room when a table was ready. Food was decent. This is the closest gateway town to the Eastern entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It's a good hour drive west to the gate with not a lot in between, so be sure to gas up in town. My friend really wanted everyone to stay at the cabins she rented out and I did do so for two days but after watching, all the guests plus the dogs sitting and lounging on the hide-a-bed I was sleeping on, plus 10 people using 1 bathroom I decided to find accommadations in Cody. Kristie at Chamberlin Inn was a godsend. She let me check in early, I had a delicious drink at the bar, while admiring the sunroom, and slept so well. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer.

Robin and Bob were both very welcoming and filled with knowledge (that they shared) about the area. The stay included 3 dogs that were very friendly and fun to be around. The breakfasts were great! One morning we had eggs, they were steamed and perfect. We also had sausage patties, homemade gingerbread muffins, fresh fruit, orange juice, and coffee. Everything was very well presented and served. We were offered a couple of muffins for the road. On the morning that we had to leave early to go horseback riding Robin made us breakfast burritos for the road. They were very good. This is probably the best place to stay while in Cody. The price was right, the location was great and it was very clean and comfortable.
