Not only was I given terrible legal advice, but these robbers charged me a bunch of fictitious charges (to the tune of $1500) after I explicitly told them that I didn't want to continue with them. After a few meetings on this topic they agreed to return $600 out of $1500 that they took out of my retainer. When the day came to get the money, they told me that I could only get it, if I signed a non-disclosure agreement, which was never discussed as a condition in any of the meetings. Steve Durbin himself was trying to FORCE me to sign a contract to silence me from disclosing how they create fictitious charges ( like the $150 charge for printing or the $1500 to 'close my file') to take all that they can from from their clients without actually providing any worthwhile legal work. If I can give you any piece of advice is RUN. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS TERRIBLE FIRM. You will regret.

Our story is heartbreaking and we had no choice but to stay with Haber law for over 4 years...we couldn't get off the train. I gave them a 2 for efforts however we invested way to much time that we later found out into a lawyer that just didn't care, forgot everything, was more ego than knowledge and overcharged us for everything. We never missed a payment but yet that was ALWAYS the first thing that was brought up when meeting. "I need to feed the chirping birds" (his staff) he would say. I also believe he was working with the opposing side to "build up the fees". If I can save another family from using this law firm I will. I agree with most of these reviews. Our family "trusted" C Haber with a case that left us broken. You chose a law firm to help you, not cause you more pain and frustration. We had 95% of evidence in our estate case and a long story short, this law firm charged us 250K from our inheritance and our late father's estate. This law firm will barely help you but more so drain your pockets and you will do most of the work. We left disappointed after 4 yrs of being nice to that lawyer (but inside not saying anything bc we needed him still), he washed his hand of us and our entire Fathers estate drained.
