There so many thoughtful touches, a pathway for my dads wheelchair, mulch barriers from my neighbors wild flowers, storage for our kayaks. The transformation was huge, it's like a whole new house. Gairy was incredibly kind, easy to work with, and very responsive throughout the process. Pricing was also very reasonable for the amount of work completed. We're extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend them.

Third job: (Last fall) paid for manual pulling/removal of Bermuda grass from garden beds, plus weed control and mulch. Emphasis on manual removal - explicitly was told they would pull all the Bermuda out manually to get all the roots out. Took a bit of chasing around to get them to actually get it on the books, and then when they did come they just buzzed everything with a string trimmed and sprayed weed killer over that. We agreed to still pay the full price on the condition that Gairy would send a team out in the spring once the Bermuda woke up and inevitably came through the mulch since it wasn't removed. He agreed, and we left it at that. Flash forward to this year and has completely ghosted us and been non-responsive. Even tried asking about having a bunch of other services added so that it wouldn't be a totally free trip, but still No luck. We finally gave up on any hope of getting the promised services, hired Mr. Outdoor Living, dropped like $4K on services with them instead and will be sticking with them next year when we do a sprinkler system and stone retaining walls.

He communicated well, always let me know if he couldn't make it on a scheduled day, and still showed up within a couple of days. The lawn work was solid, and I had no complaints. This year, however, has been a completely different story. * Lane offered me a seasonal contract at a great rate. I paid him up front, trusting him based on last year's service. * After taking my money, he never showed up--not once. * He responds to some of my messages, ignores others. * He's repeatedly said he'd refund me "at the end of the week," but I've seen no refund and no real effort to make it right. One time, he even told me he was on his way to mow the lawn. An hour passed, I checked in, and he casually replied "no" and because his lawnmower broke, but he had already been on the way. This kind of behavior has happened more than once. Lane comes across as friendly and dependable at first, but he has not followed through on a single promise this season. I'm writing this review to warn others: don't get taken in like I did.
