On the phone the person doing the pre-screen questions stated, "We will need you to take a urine test, THC okay." I take CBD gummies to help sleep, which show up on tests, so hearing that I thought this was perfect. Once in office, they stated that THC for this study was in fact NOT okay. I'd have been fine stopping the gummies for the study, however, I'd have to stop them for a MONTH then come back and re-test just to see if I qualify. I did NOT get paid for my time coming in. Had the person on the phone stated "THC is fine initially, however, it will need to be out your system to qualify," I would have made my choice to either participate or not. I feel like they were very misleading on the phone just to get me to come in. I know details of the study are revealed once there in person, but something that simple could have been made clear. When mentioning this to the staff they simply said they would talk to the pre-screener. A waste of time and gas that could have been avoided had they bothered to tell the truth and not be misleading with their pre-screen call.
