History

Established in 1995.

Since its creation in 1995 by, GMCS has been a part of almost every notable special event in Vermont. From music festivals to sporting events, the special event elite have used GMCS to make their events safe. Today the company provides security services to over 1,500 events annually, holds security licenses in 11 states and employs over 800 professionals part time. Even in its infancy GMCS was relied on to provide exceptional security services to Vermont's most high profile special events. Experiences like the Grateful Dead at Highgate, VT, Memorial Auditorium concerts, Burlington's JazzFest, and multi-day music festivals were all a part of GMCS's beginning. Founded to address Vermont's event safety needs, GMCS has grown into an industry leader.
